      I know this is incredibly late, but did you ever find a fix? I've also done everything and it still crashes.

   I have done everything it said to do, but when I go into the game and do the command, it says the file could not be found/opened. I know others have had this problem, but I didn't see a solid solution given to fix it.

      if you dont even know where your skyrim folder is you really shouldnt mod the game...
