I just wanted to say that this is a REALLY awesome race. It looks absolutely fabulous and there are so many options when customizing! There is only one thing I think that could use some improvement. I have played as a female character and I noticed that her voice acting is unusually loud. That, and the use of words being cut in half in the middle of a fight are rather unpleasant. But besides that, the demonic sound effect is awesome and super original.
The only reason I decide to play as another race is because I make intensive use of various wing mods and this (awesome) race already has wings. (Which look great actually.)
Thanks glad u like it and yeah i should have made the voices a bit quieter, cant stop them from cutting out though as they play randomly each time u swing a weapon
Interesting concept, just like the fallen. I like it. However, every time I select this race to make a new character, I get ctd. I'm missing something, apparently. Do I need another mod to make this one work?
I deactivated my other custom races, but dark ones still crashes the game. I have precachekiller installed, which works for all the other races. I really want to play this race! I tested all my custom races and they all work, singly and together. This is the only one that doesn't.
The only other thing I can think of for you to try is disable all your mods except The Dark Ones just to see if it works them if it does, enable all your mods one by one till you find the one that is conflicting. I am running the mod on basic unmodded skyrim with latest update , dawnguard, hearthfires and dragonborn installed. And it runs fine (The mod does not need Dragonborn, dawnguard etc to run though)>
Thanks for your help. Unfortunately, I deleted all the skyrim and steam files, and reloaded everything into a completely different directory, and it still goes ctd when I try to select Dark One as a race. The reinstall cleaned out a lot of junk, but no luck. Strange. There is an explanation, obviously, but I just can't figure it out.
Man sounds like a major bummer wish I knew what to tell you but unfortunately I dont Only other option is to wait and see if anyone else has the same problem and maybe they can find a solution
I am slightly offended by this. If you are going to use the pentagram, with demons, you might want to turn it upside down so it is demonic, and not right side up. Normally right side up is white, upside down star is black.
The end of the day I created this mod primarily for myself and decided to share it. I like the way it looks and wont be changing the pentagram if you don't like it simply don't download it. Problem solved lol
I understand what your saying, but like Stormypaw, I too get offended, as you are not putting the one rule a lot of businesses and modifiers keep to, of which is "The customer is always right", and in this case the Customer is the users of your modification.
Well you are all entitled to your opinion. But you will find that most if not all modders make their mods for themselves initially. And we spend days if not weeks, sometimes even months making these mods. We get these petty little comments about ppl not being happy because the mod does not meet their expectations. The mod was made to suit my tastes not everyone elses. If you are not happy with the product then I suggest you try and make you own mod and see how time consuming and difficult it can be or modify my mod yourself to suit your own tastes

(btw it's a pentacle, pentagrams have no circle) The pentacle ONLY symbolizes the 4 elements (European mostly) in connection to each other and the human spirit and can be oriented in any way. Magic isn't dark or white, it's just energy, good and evil is based on a person's intent.
I fixed it! When I install this mod, it asks to overwrite files from the race compatibility mod. The correct answer is "no to all." Finally, I can play one of The Dark Ones.
I tagged this as "Not Lore Friendly" as Akatosh is the eldest of the Aedra, as Hermaeus Mora is the eldest of the Daedra, therefore Nemesis is not the oldest.
Not bad but I think it would be better to add a little more personalization considering they do look too much like the vanilla characters than again so do most custom races
