I'm not sure what it is either. There is no "CME_saves" in my, "My Documents> My Games> Skyrim" so I made a folder and labeled it that but went ingame and not sure how to access this save. alexiskonig, would please explain how to do this, thank you.
It's not a save file. It's a slot file for Enhanced Character Edit. If you have it installed, you can start a new game or Even type in "Racemenu" in the console and go to the slot section and pick out custom saved characters you've made in the past and use for quick access to rebuild them every time.
It's for people who installed Enhanced Character Edit. The folder only appears if you have that. These slots will work like a preset, but it does not overwrite anything from the vanilla game.
You may need to have Enhanced Character Edit installed, run the game and make sure you have SKSE. It would auto generate the folder in My Games > Skyrim.
