    In celebration of Pi-day (yesterday), I've uploaded the newest version of More Interesting Loot for Skyrim, version 5.7!

    This new version has lots of new items, changes to old items, new concepts, custom meshes and textures for many items, and probably a lot of looting features I'm not thinking of at the moment.

    A huge shout out to @lautasantenni for the latest custom meshes and textures. I highly recommend you take a look at the Credits section (at the bottom of the main desc page) and follow the links to check out all of the modders' mods that have so kindly given permission to use their assets in this Mod. While this Mod focuses on loot - their mods often go beyond the assets that I use and have other functionality... check 'em out!

    Version 5.7 (3/15/2015 - Looter's Paradise Edition)

    - [Updated] All weapons of absorption now may be tempered.
    - [Updated] Rebalanced base gold value for all weapons to be same as vanilla.
    - [Updated] Reworked the Slay Daedra enchantments to new enchantments: Daedra-bane, Daedra Hunter, Daedra Slayer.
    - [Updated] Reworked the Slay Undead enchantments to new enchantments: Bane of the Undead, Undead Hunter, Undead Slayer.
    - [Updated] The various Slay Daedra enchantments now may be disenchanted.
    - [Updated] The various Slay Undead enchantments now may be disenchanted.
    - [Updated] Removed Ring of Detection (Greater)
    - [Updated] Rings of Detection magic effects now go into effect as soon as you wear the item (instead of a lesser power)
    - [Updated] Rings of Detection will now update the detection range, while worn
    - [Updated] Ring of Faerie Fire magic effect now goes into effect as soon as you wear the item (instead of a lesser power)
    - while ring is worn, now actively updates the detection range
    - [Updated] Various ring/amulet Artifacts from Morrowind have been updated to have longer durations than 30s (upped to 60s or 90s)
    - [Updated] Changed a variety of rings and necklaces to use custom meshes, courtesy of @lautasantenni (Expanded Jewelry Crafting).

      how do i make the loots i get fair,this mod is giving me deadra weapons at beggening of game where i havent even killed my firs dragon yet

      i think you should make a Wyre Bash patch to edit the leveled list.

    I found an enchantment called trick shot that I want to put on a different set of gauntlets, but I can't seem to disenchant it to learn it. Anyone know how to go about this?

    Does anyone who has installed it know if it has gloval distribution to NPC or only the chests are modified exclusively?

    I had a system crash...no, that isn't right, system apocalypse... and I had to build a new PC.
    And I promised a freind or 3 that I had gotten hooked on Skyrim, that I would try Skyrim SE again.

    sigh. ok. (they have ulterior motives)

    I'm just not sure I can tolerate Skyrim without More Interesting Loot. The thing that passes for it in the SE nexus is...Huge, weird, and not More Interesting Loot.

    So unless someone wants to tell me where to get the SE port for my "I'll actually sort of try, this time" effort, any pointers on porting? looks straightforward.

      The LE version works fine for SSE, just save the .esp in the CK.

      it was a little more involved than that; quite a few incompatible meshs and textures, and one script.
      got it done and played about 6 hours with no issues last night, so thanks for pointing out the possibility.

      Yeah you're right. The SSE Nif optimizer fixes that.

    Seems really interesting, but I'm not sold. I don't want to try a weapon with a random enchantment on literally everything to figure out what it does, and I don't want to encounter enhancements that are incredibly situational or useless, much like the rare vanilla enhancement that makes weapons do like 10 points more damage when the moon is out.

    This interests me a bit, but looking at the screenshots, I'm afraid this would unbalance the economy of the game. How often is it you run into these super rare, super expensive items? And why do the boss chests contain so many extra items? Yeah, I can get finding the boss chests in the game a bit underwhelming (I often find myself wanting more for my troubles). Of course, the game's generous enough with gold that you don't really need it all that badly. Besides, it seems just about every dungeon has an extra chest after the boss chest to give you a bit extra loot.

    Oh, and as for why I'm looking this up, I just want that gold armor that appears in one of the screenshots for Legacy of the Dragonborn. Looking at the wiki, it seems to state that armor and weapon set comes from this mod.

      If you want to play a tight lore and economy game but have a weakness for shiny new things that might upset your game then perhaps this isn't for you, I love this with all the extras I can get, I sell them in my shop and buy up as much of Skyrim real estate as I can, I do however make as sure as I can to keep at least one of everything I find on display somewhere... in one of the Towns I've built or perhaps in a Stronghold I purchased, yeah I need a big ol' pile of gold to play my game and this is unmissable for me.
      you on the other hand might play very differently.

    Got a problem here. A lot of the world items that spawn from this mod are missing their textures and are just one big MISSING TEXTURES warning, how to fix this?

      I'm getting the same issue. I have 2 elven rings that are just invisible for some reason. No idea why it's happening.

      Hey, Could you share your translation? Because apparently either the mod author doesn't care for the Skyrim LE anymore or he just vanished.

      However...
      Personally I would try and contact the Author first, then if you get no reply ask in the forums about contacting him, it's the decent thing to do especially if you wish to be respected here at Nexus.

    So I ported this to SSE and everything works fine, except for the bows, which all come up as a white "!" mark in a red diamond.

    Is this a corrupted download or am i missing something else here?

      No, because nobody cares. Modders do that all the time such as the FooK2 mod for Fallout 3. Very sophomoric but a great mod nonetheless.
