    CURRENT DEVELOPMENT:

I thought I would just make a post about what I am currently working on, and what the plan going forward is! Just so people do not think I just released and let that be that!

What will be in the next update:

No ideas yet. It all really come down to what Boris decides for ENB and Skyrim SE. From what I can tell I am not able to port everything yet, since all features are not yet implemented. I will wait until that happens if ever. For now it should be possible to just the core shaders without issue however. I am however not sure about anything, as I have not tried it myself yet. Would love some feedback however.

That is about it for now. If you find anything you would like to see, or have altered then do not be scared to throw a suggestion!

Welcome to the Skylight ENB Nexus posting!

Please consult the FAQ on the description page, and the readme file included with the preset before asking any questions!

Other then that, then fire away with issues, praise, or just general banter! I will try to help out as best I can and continually improve this site and the files offered!

Also I will pimp up the front page as I get something artistic done outside of the game!

    ABOUT ENB BINARY VERSION:
Version 305 should work nicely out of the box. I have not found any critical issues with my limited testing. It seems most of the new features are more aimed at fancy screenarcher, and the few things that are not are disabled by default, and hence will not interfere with what is already there. As always keep a backup of the previous working version.... just in case.

ABOUT THE LATEST SKYLIGHT ENB VERSION:
    Version 7.0

Okay so it is finally here! Hopefully I have managed to sort out most of the issues, bugs and other annoyances! If not I hope people will tell me so I can fix it!

So what is new this time around?

Well I figured out a fancy way to create dynamic bloom effects! So now you will be able to have bright sources glow a bit more and then fade as you look at them.

Because I use the vanilla implementation of bloom for this I had to compensate quite a bit. The effect is most noticeable during bright weathers.

Speculars are back! Yes that is right... I have overhauled the SSS and specular settings so now they should be fairly epic with only very few minor issues.

Overhauled the general palette... I have readjusted every bit of tonemapping, and as such had to redo just about everything.

Reworked weathers... Some weathers have been made more magical, some more realistic. Tried out some new colors and styles that I enjoy.. so I hope you all will too.

Lots of various fixes to issues that have come up, so thanks to all who provided feedback! I have tried to get most of it into this version. Some things are not implemented yet, and for that I am sorry... but time is a constraint.

About the Latest Skylight Guide Versions

Split the guide up into two sections.
One for installation of ENB and Skylight etc. like you know it. And then a new one that deals with all the technical stuff in the new shaders!

There are currently sections about the old weather mods I had made.. but I discontinued those since I feel like it was not properly made anyways. However the guide still has a section about it. But nothing of real interest is in it anyways. Will have it removed for the next guide update.

Again all of this in the hope that more people will want to start using them to create their own cool looking stuff!

    Want Brighter Nights/Interior?
Read the section in the installation guide about that particular issue!

    ABOUT enblocal.ini!
I have NOT included one, since it is system dependent. You will need to set up your own enblocal.ini file. I provided some help with this in the installation guide!

    Thank you!

I can't seem to find the key combination for the ENB menu... it's usually shift+enter, what is it on skylight?

Did you change the .dll file name? That fixed it for me. Go to your Skyrim directory, find dxgi.dll and rename it to "d3d11.dll. I read it in the comments of another ENB and it had something to do with WIN10.

You, above than to present their work - check their normally. When you rotate the character as if the image is cut and begins to deform - such as pillars, trees... There is some strange band that divides the image...

    Hi,
    I like this ENB overall.
My interiors day and interiors night look good and my exterior night looks good. Exterior day always looks as though there is a heat haze. I cannot get it to look 'bright' - 'sharp' - 'crisp' or whatever the correct term is.
    Any suggestions appreciated.

It might be to late but i had this what you call "heat haze" looking day to. I just changed bfloatpointrentgentarget=1 in skyrim.ini in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Skyrim, and in skyrimprefs.ini in C:\Users\Acer\Documents\My Games\Skyrim

So first of all, I think I just found my favorite enb! Good work!

But... there are these weird vertical stripes showing on some surfaces. Especially rocks which have shadows drawn on them. The stripes aren't exactly on the objects/surfaces themselves. They are kinda drawn to the screen.
Some other forum said turning off bDeferredShadows to 1 would help. Well.. it did, but then the whole preset was fucked.

Anyone else had this? If so, someone found a fix?

I just can't find a better ENB, after years of playing, this is the one I keep coming back too. Which sucks a bit, because I'd -love- to transition to SE, as I'm tired of all the random "you just ran out of memory!" issues I keep running into. Probably I'll eventually get fed up enough to go ENBless over there.

But if you're playing Oldrim? This is the ENB you want.
