I have to agree with Elianora, big rooms need to be filled and it looks just dump if there is a giant room with low ceiling. Make them smaller and more detailed. And the rooms should be in a realistic size to their outside.
If the room is to big to fill with the objects and furntiure you like for it. Maybe section off an unused portion of the room as a seperate room for another purpose. Such as guest bedroom, library, or enchanting/alchemy lab. I rarely, if at all, download a player home. But I do like your idea of having to face a big challenge for the key. Hopefully you can find all the things you want for the home. Good luck!
Edit: A large library with many bookshelves, chests, a few empty shelves, and weapon display racks would be great for the packrat portion of the nexus community. Again best of luck.
Yeah well, the rooms are not big anymore. I am done with the house, now i am working with the exterior world. It was in my previous versions i had large rooms. Thanks for your ideas and the good luck.
To be clear, my mod is not only a player house. It is a whole new world wich i am working on. I will have quests, dungeons and much more. It will eventually later become a big mod.
If there is a big empty space in the house, a good use for that area would be mannequins and show cases for special armor's and weapons found in the game. Kind of like a show room
I have been thinking about the same I just need to learn how to get them to work, somehow they are disabled, ill try my best to create some working ones
