is this compatible with lore based loading screens because i like both, these are colorful and nice to look at and then theres lbls which give my lore side a smile, i would like to please both of my sides. SO anyone know
After some tinkering, it's fairly straightforward to customize this for your local install in the creation kit. It's just a little time consuming as the probability conditions are set separately for each screen/slide. At first I was copying conditions from the vanilla screens (15 base chance, plus one or more depending on the region) but then I noticed that the lore friendly loading screens just use a blank conditions list, so I did the remainder like that and am waiting to see what shows up when from vanilla, TESG, Lore Friendly and Uncle Sheos.
If you do this, note that pasting conditions in the CK (including 'paste all' ) does not remove any existing conditions. So if you paste in a few lines, make sure to scroll down and delete the original line with the "100% AND" probability.
Also, a side note that when running the game at 5760x1200 the TESG screens extend a bit beyond the center monitor. Haven't tried the smaller images yet, as I think this may be coming from Flawless Widescreen's menu-scaling fix rather than the game itself.
Thank you for sharing that, neotribe!!! I was curious to see if it'd be editable with TES5Edit as well, and the answer is yes! I wanted to keep the other mod-added loading screens as well as the vanilla ones, and now I can :)
How does one ADD these to loadscreen roster? The whole problem with loadscreens to me is that you see the same ones over and over to the point they get annoying, so I want to have 10x more of them than vanilla, not use these as a replacer.
Great mod. The vast majority of these load screens are perfect. Some have text though that does not fit the picture (example: text describing lake ilinalta but picture shows the wrong lake, and text describing bannered mare inn but picture shows drunken huntsman inn) Also, There are a small number of loadscreens that either feel slightly less lore friendly or have too much of a vanity/selfie vibe. But its only a minor problem, as it was very easy to remove the ones I don't want with xEdit. (I removed loadscreen numbers: 64, 68, 74, 108, 123, 130, 155, 177, 204 in xEdit to make it even more vanilla friendly for myself)
I guess I'm a bit late, but for that you can use Glev's Loadscreen Maker. What it does is convert the image files you put into the folder into DDS files and then packs them up as loadscreen replacers.
Question: I want to add more load screens ... how would I go about doing this? I want to add in Ancient Load Screens (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/22638) in addition to this. I tried to create a patch in TES5Edit, but what did't work
