      I would like to know this myself. My current character really needs the symbol of House Telvanni in the journal.

      Just to necro this, But there is a way to change the current images, but its rather fiddly; You need to first extract the BSA Archive, Then open the "takenoteswidget.swf" in something like jpexs-decompiler, Then open the images tab, and replace the appropriate image with a new one, preferrably with a similiar resolution, Then you save the swf, and repack the BSA.
      
      Haven't found a way to add more images, but it'd presumably be a lot more fiddly than this.
