i asked the autor to continue this mod development but he didnt grant me permission, it was a couple of months ago, he said he'd do a more expanded version... but i think this mod is dead, luckily i have a extended version i made for myself in case he'd give me permission, will see if he says anything
Does anyone have a working version of this? I've tried all different types of conversions and while the body armor kinda works I've been really trying to get the gauntlets to work, but to avail. The gauntlets are always just invisible for me and I'm not sure how to fix that. I had a working version before, but recently got a new comp and my dumb self didn't bring it over.
It's really crazy that I can't find a simple mod (FOR MALES) that do this. I've been researching for so many other bionic/cyborg/prosthetic mods, but they always end up being for females only. like WTF? Where is the love for male cyborgs?
I still don't understand those people who only make female armor. And yes, I also mean those simps who can't stop looking at something that doesn't have breasts. I think there are many of us who want much more sophisticated masculine armor and many simply say nothing because they conform.

So, I tried to convert this to SE. I ran the meshes through NIF Optimizer, but there is a problem. In-game only the Armor and Gauntlets exist, and both just make my character naked when equipped (both in 3rd and 1st person). Does anyone know what I am doing wrong? I have converted mods with this method scores of times and this is the first time it didn't work. Any help would be appreciated. I am so longing to play a Clockwork Apostle like character in Skyrim and this is the only mod I have ever come across that lets you equip Dwemer prosthetics with out being geared twoards people who want to play skimpy women with gigantic tits.
That is strange indeed. I haven't tried to convert this as of yet. I imagine you are familiar with doing it, but just to go through the steps for your own peace-of-mind:
1) Unpacked vanilla mod .bsa (if there was one) with something like BAE to access meshes and texture files. Deleting the .bsa file after unpacking. 2) Run meshes through NifOptimizer (cut and paste back forth from mesh folder to your NifOptimizer.exe folder after converting). If applicable: doing any head meshes separately and clicking the "head only" box in NifOptimizer. 3) Repacking mod to archive to access via mod downloader program (NMM, Vortex, MO2, ect...), by right-clicking mod folder and selecting .7z (or similar program) and clicking "add to...". 4) Installing mod via mod downloader and activating archive. 5) Opening Creation Kit SE, selecting file, data, scrolling to find the mod .esp, double-clicking box, setting it as "active file" and running. Saving mod to update from Oldrim 43 version to Skyrim SE 44. 6) Running Loot to ensure proper load order and placing mod priority to ensure proper overwriting if necessary. 7) Running Skyrim SE/SKSE to verify.
Obviously, if you have done this and it's still funky, then I too, am at a loss as what to do specifically.
Hope this helped (whether you, or anyone else) if possible.
The thing is really strangely coded, if you open it up in creation kit it bugs out and does everything you mentioned. Additionally it seems to think that it's vanilla and not in the load order - there's no (XX) in front of the item IDs. it's just a really broken and old mod.

I would like a helmet if there isn't. I'm commenting this before I download.
Because why not.
