This is a good idea but i think the models should be based on Silver Sword and Silver Greatsword

    This is great!
I have been having a problem though, sometimes the blade is blue and other times it is yellow?

I love playing a paladin and i role play it as hardcore as possible, including eating, camping/frostfall, requiem, blah blah blah. If it's a restoration bound weapon, it should ONLY harm undead. Also, i think the blades should use an enchantment effect similar to the dawnbreaker light in the hilt. I know you're new, but i won't be using the mod until i feel it will be included seamlessly into my own playstyle. I'll click TRACK as i'm VERY VERY interested to see where you take this. Good luck!

So you want a modder to change his mod to fit your exact wishes? While messing with others who want something to the contrary? Just use the CK and do it yourself man, it isn't THAT hard.

What if instead of Daedric weapons, it was another different type of weapons, renamed 'Bound Aedric X?' X being the weapon type. Like 'Bound Aedric Sword.' And how about making it compatible with Bound Armory. Adding in more weapons and the like. I'm not asking for a whole set of armor, as it'd make mods like Bound Armory and True Bound Daedric Armors, unless you removed the alignment with the perks from conjuration to make it more balanced. This is just an idea that I'm throwing out there. As for the different weapon model, I'd recommend Skyforge Steel weapons.

Looks rather interesting, although I'm not sure if I'll ever get around to using it. Also, is the reason why you haven't added them to any dealer's list because you don't know how or is it because you just don't have time? If you just don't know how I can probably do it for you since I added my own spells for my "The Dark Element Rises" - http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/41714/? to the vanilla and dragonborn conjuration tome sellers. It's mainly just a matter of adding your item to the lists and takes little to no time once you get the hang of it.

Edit: Hmm, took less time then I thought it would. I added your spell tome to the list. If you want the updated version just ask and I'll mail it over or upload a patch for it. Also, I'm including a screenshot of the tome in Farengar's shop list.

I have been working on learning to put it in vendor inventory, and also I plan to put a freebie in the college when I learn how.

I appreciate the offer to send me the update, however I would like to learn to do these things myself, would you be willing to help me learn to add them?

      Feel free to PM me

Its actually a lot easier to add the tomes to the seller lists then you would think. Simply open the CK and load your mod and any need files (aka: the main Skyrim file), enter spelltome into the search bar and then select the display all items tab on the bottom of the list (this way you don't get the slight hicup from the CK trying to look up every single item in the game), find whichever list you feel is appropriate to add the spell tome to (I added it to any list that included the other novice restoration but you can always add it to a different list if you want it to appear somewhere else), and then you just add a new selection to the list and select your spell tome. Unless your CK shows the colors for the item types differently then mine the list's icon should show up as a green box, or at least something green since I don't quite remember if it was a box or not. Good luck with your mod, it really does look like the start of a good thing.

I like this mod for multiple reasons
1)I think it remains fairly balanced in that, while a restoration spell, it needs bound weapon perks to really get off the ground. However when I have had all of my bound weapon perks added, I don't have to touch conjuration again if I don't want to. This is a very nice feature for min-maxers such as myself.

2)The extra damage to undead is a cool thing, feels very “restoration”

3)It is a very wonderful way to level restoration without having to burn myself at a forge or any number of tricks I have used to hurt myself and level restoration.

For the most part other than creating a non console tome available somewhere, I think you could leave it there. It is fairly simple and to the point. Plus it looks cool!

However here are a few suggestions, or ideas to mull over if ever you are looking for ideas to expand upon what you have here. It all depends on how much time you want to put into this mod:

1)You could make a restoration greataxe and bow for vanilla game play. You wouldn’t have to do anything beyond what you have done here, and it would open up more options for we holy warriors who are looking to take a more combative role.

2)If you want even more options, there are a few other bound weapon mods out there that expand the list, these add maces and axes to the mix. I am pretty sure you could get permissions to use them if you ask nicely. One such mod is Expanded bound weapons: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/29259//?

3)You could make the weapons drain health, but if you do so I would drop the actual base power of the weapons.

4)“Regeneration blades” would be way too powerful, akin to a cheat mod, but I throw it out there in case it sparks any idea for you.

5)If you get good enough with the scripting, you could even have the swords disintegrate the dead to prevent them from being raised again. Take a look at the Last Rites Mod here http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/46171//?

    6) If the weapons get too powerful later (because you added so many features to them for example) you could make them ONLY effective against the undead, which would majorly nerf them. I would use this idea only as a last resort, if you found your mod becoming way overpowered in the end.

That’s pretty much it. I was really happy to see this mod and will tell more people about it. With a little work this mod could be truly epic.

P.S. Just to add some polish to what you already have here, try putting in the description of the spell, that the blade does extra damage to the undead.

Thank you very much for tall of your feedback, I am looking to perfect this mod so time is not really an issue, you have put down some very good ideas for me to work on! I do plan on turning this mod into at least the vanilla set of bound weapons, dagger/bow/axe/sword.

GREAT WORK! That's the sort of thing that we most need here. Small fixes for big problems. Like the other guy said, giving a bonus DMG to undead, daedra, etc or some other restoration ench.
Ill keep this mod close and i'll use on my next Cleric as a dagger in the boot!
    Good work for further mods!

Since it's a restoration spell, what if it did bonus damage to the undead? And I don't know if this falls under the "is possible" category, but what if the sword healed any friendly/non-hostile target?

I have considered both options, the extra dmg vs undead is certainly possible and i intend to implement it, the issue I would have with friendly players is that I would have to make it not start combat with them. I am uncertain how to do this yet.

      Good ideas though!
