Bottom Sneak Eye option is broken. Please see bug report page for details.
April 2016:
I have enabled bug tracker so that you can report any issue that you find.
Original message:
I don't play the game anymore - not outside of 5-minute tests - therefore I'm relying on you to report on any compatibility issue with any other mod. This is especially important for less popular mods since I won't be seeing those on the first page when I search for likely-to-conflict mods. It doesn't matter if your favorite mods only have 12 downloads, if you find it incompatible please post in the comment section and I'll see - time and will permitted - if there's anything I can do about it. The most usual hurdle to issuing a compatibility patch is permission and if a mod author went AWOL without leaving a note authorizing any change to fix/improve his/her mod little can be done.
Using this mod with Compass Mod - Immersive Undiscovered Locations: If you're using Compass Mod - Immersive Undiscovered Locations, be sure to use the version for this mod available in the optional download section called "Immersive Undiscovered Locations - Skyrim Interface Makeover". You will lose this mod's HUD customization but you can customize it with Minimal HUD Light (not the full version!) instead. Moving forward I'm planning to get rid this mod of HUD customization other than dot crosshair and tie it with Minimal HUD Light anyway, so you might want to get used to it *evil laughter* .
Regarding map mods: You may have to reinstall your map mod if you don't use Mod Organizer. If you use MO put this mod above your map mod in overwrite order on the left so that it may overwrite my map. If you've lost any settings or saved map data due to this I'm terribly, terribly sorry.
On the other hand I've loaded this mod after Atlas, overwriting its map file but it seemed everything works fine. I'm not an Atlas or other map add-on user though so I would love to hear if it is working for you. ===========================================================
Update 5.1.0 is up
-- Based on SkyUI 5, but compatible with SkyUI 5.1 (you won't see incompatible files error message) -- Remove options for color and smaller markers. SkyUI handles map markers differently now, meaning you can use any map marker mod made for SkyUI 5.0 and above. There is no need for my own version. -- Removed some unnecessary components
Update 5.0.2 is up -- Fixed an issue with scrollbar in MCM dialogue menus. Thanks for the report Jebbalon!
Update 5.0.1 -- Fixed NMM/MO installer issue. Silly me. If you had problems with NMM or MO installer please reinstall the mod with this version.
Update 5.0 -- Compass tuner - options to remove enemy radar, quest markers, locations -- New font option for handwritten journals and notes -- Option to have sneak meter at the bottom, with text removed and better visual cue for detection -- Option to remove or keep activation button -- Option to remove bottom bar in map
Changes -- Wider MCM config panel. I consider this experimental due to the sensitive nature of the component so tell me if you find any problem -- Redone pause menu to better fit other fonts. Ridiculously big, unoptimized fonts will still get clipped. A good rule of thumb is to use a font 15%-20% smaller than the original. -- Get rid of bsa archive -- Get rid of esp plugin except when you choose to hide discovered locations on compass
Quick post-it for manual install -
TL; DR -- Just use a goddamn manager would you please. Try to avoid manual unless troubleshooting.
Folders with 0000-1111 in front contain hudmenu.swf (prefix 01). The bits from left to right represent these settings -- Activate Button (0 on, 1 remove) - Compass Undiscovered Locations (0 on, 1 remove) - Quest Markers (0 on, 1 remove)- Compass Enemy Markers (0 on, 1 remove). Dot/Sneak/Cross is crosshair type, Small is HUD size.
So for example if your preferred setup is no activate button, no enemy markers and no quest markers, look for a folder starting with 1011, followed by whatever preference you would like for crosshair, and HUD size.
Folders prefixed with 02 contain your map, 03 contain your font settings.
So I missed that this was an Oldrim mod, played about 6 minutes with it (before crashing and burning because I'm a pleb), but man I fell in love. Absolutely fantastic work. Well worth an endorsement without being able to use it. It'[s been years so I doubt it'll end up finding its way to SSE, but good luck in whatever you do you magnificent bastard.
Man I wish this could be ported to SSE. Recently switched over and I love it...except for the fact that my very favorite font mod doesn't exist for Special Edition. Oh, well. Maybe someday. =)
Currently working on it but I pretty much have to do it old school again since there's no decompiled UI files for SSE (that means no ETA). You can already use the font though. Just copy over "fonts_fh2.swf" and "fontconfig.txt" into SSE's Data/Interface folder. Create an Interface folder if there isn't one.
HUD seems to work from my short test but I'm not positive. The only things I've confirmed to be broken so far is main menu and in-game menu.
In short -
Confirmed working (may be safely used): 1. fonts_fh2.swf 2. fontconfig.txt
Possibly working (try to use -- if something breaks just delete the related file): 1. hudmenu.swf (HUD) 3. tweenmenu.swf (Tab screen)
Confirmed broken (DO NOT use): 1. startmenu.swf (Main menu) 2. quest_journal.swf (In-game menu) 3. map.swf (Map)
For those wondering about Skyrim SE compatibility:
In addition to following the mod author's instructions above, I can confirm this mod works in SSE, including without any of the annoying dialogue pop-up warning messages, on the following conditions:
- Do not enable any of the mod's map features - Do not enable bottom sneak eye (leave in default position) - Do not remove/hide any HUD features - Do not enable the wider MCM feature
So in other words, if, like me, you only want the font aspects of this mod as well as the smaller widescreen HUD and dot crosshair, then those aspects will work just fine.
Furthermore, uranreactor's 'Wider MCM Menu for SkyUI' mod is compatible with Skyrim Interface Makeover (provided that you DO NOT enable the 'wider MCM' option via SIM) and can be found here:
great work dude just for those who just want to fix things like quest journal general stats and the arrows around it get in each other or when press tap that open up the menus, in the corner that show time and date, instead of 4E 201 it's just 4E u need only two files:quest_journal.swf & tweenmenu.swf, just use this two files and delete everything else
Hey, it's me. I want to request a compatibility patch with the Main Menu mod (a very excellent and useful mod) https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64948/. I have been unable to figure out how to do it.
I don't know if anyone has already mentioned this but, and this is just a minor thing for me, it's incompatible with Floating Healthbars (http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/58728/?). Upon entering combat the game immediately CTDs. I have yet to look deep into the details of this conflict because I've just discovered it. If there is any way to fix this I would greatly appreciate it!
I'm not really familiar with Floating Healthbars but have you tried moving the mod's files out of "Interface/Export" into "Interface" as suggested by the author?
I can also confirm this, I use Floating Healthbars and have an instant CTD every time i approach a hostile with this mod.
EDIT: After a little of checking the forums, the same fix for Less Intrusive Hud posted at Skyrim Interface Overhaul also works for Floating Healthbars.
So I tried installing this with SkyHUD and it completely ruins the HUD and makes it the normal HUD instead of Oblivion HUD. I tried reinstalling the mod before and after SkyHUD but it still seems to not work. Would you mind helping me?

Hope this helps given that it looks like we won't be getting this updated over to SSE; at least some great aspects of it still work.
