this is the best katana replacer in the nexus for sure, there are lots of great katanas but they are standalone, like really why do you need to make a new one, when you see the npcs use the old ugly one. great work!
ok i was gonna download this but now im not as you stolen vagabonds work(which has caused a few great modders to quit the nexus over things like this),im a big fan of vagabonds work ever since oblivion and hope this mess gets sorted as id hate to see another great modder quit over this.
I went looking for a version uploaded by vagabondangel himself and did not find. Looks like I'll be forced to use this pirated mod. I like the overall design, but the silver habaki is going to bother me the whole time I play with this.
Well that's unfortunate... but i just want to tell you that i love your katanas since they released for oblivion. Your model and texture work is top notch! I really hope you could release better katana for skyrim.
Hmmm... You did not have my permission to do this. You didn't even ask. Since I have been busy re-doing the originals and adding a couple of new styles, I'm actually pretty irritated at the total lack of contact from you regarding use of my work. I am easy to find, being a member here and at the Bethsoft forums.
Great sword my current fav, however, there is an issue with the blood decal. The first person model displays the world blood decals and not the bumpmapped first person decals you get on the vanilla swords. Can this be fixed? I looked at the nifs but couldn't find any discrepancies that might cause this; the only thing that was evident was that the scarab node was pointing to a wrong string.
@ lessthan3; There is a mod fixing Ebony Blade. It can be upgraded, it fixes the 1/2 hand thingy. And you also get to choose wether or not you want a 1H or 2H version of it.
I choose the 1H version, and with the upgradability, it's pretty neat since it never runs out of Charges once you powered it up again.
Edit: And a very nice replacer this is for Akaviri Katanas (Forgot to write that first >.< )
