Definitely not going to endorse this , I couldn't find the dagger and waste quite amount of time of my life searching for it(should have atleast put the screenshot ), don't blame me for not using console (got problem on my console) .
It's in Jarls bedroom The room is ridiculously small It's on the night stand. How could you not find it when it's the most out of place object? I know this comment is a year old, but you're being negative because of a problem on your end. I know you rather have someone just show you where it is, but the description basically gives it away. You just gotta go to that room and look around. Either you completely glanced over it and didn't realize it was there, or you didn't install it right. :\
Hmmm,a shame, maybe I'm dumb but I can't get it working, it appears in the Nexus Mod Manager, but only in the "Mods-Section", there is nothing in the " Plugins-Section". tried severel variations through the console, but nothing.
Aha, manual installation works, but the Dagger can't be improved at a forge, so it is nice but not of use for my char, like the design though!
Wow, that was quick! Thank you both, I will try as soon as possible.
OK, tempering is possible, enchanting also, only the installation via Mod Manager isn't working, manual install is working properly. Endorsed
It can't be improved? Hm, that is odd. I would probably have to make it improvable manually. I figured it would just stay so, since I based the file on a copy of an existing dagger. I will look into it.
AliceFace, for tempering, just type in temper in the filter and click 'All' at the bottom. Then you can select an existing temper recipe and edit the ID name and select your dagger for the item tempered. Then save and click yes to the new form warning.
This thing looks awesome! Just downloaded it to check it out, and noticed you didn't have an environment mask built for it, although it's set up for one. If you do one that has every area that needs to be dull in dark grays, and the shiny parts in light grays, it will make the environment cube map react dynamically. Also, you need to make a specular map to go into the alpha channel of the normal map, so the game knows which parts are shiny and which are dull. Then, you need to apply a normal map filter to the locked background layer of the normal map for it to read correctly. This will make a big difference in it's lively look in game. If you have any questions on any of these methods, feel free to PM me.
To get the Damascus effects to really stand out, you can do light and dark swishy lines down the blade on just the specular map (alpha of the normal map) and the environment map. It gives the look of the different layers without having to do anything on the diffuse.
Thank you for your help, Mr. Dave; it should be upgradeable now. I thought it would simply use the same upgrading recipe as the skyforge steel dagger that I based the file on, but apparently not!
As mentioned in the description, I made this for my Maya course; I actually have no idea what an environment cube map is yet. I will look into these after work today.
damascus steel is so hard to represent on textures in this engine, its frustrating. But the gold inlay you added more than makes up for the lack of patterns on the blade. well done
Aliceface, awesome dagger! If your still unsure how to add a tempering recipe check out 000F46C2 in the Skyrim.esm. The FormID provided is the tempering recipe for the Elven Dagger, just copy it and point it to your new weapon. If you are still having trouble I would be willing to do it for you and pass the new .esp along to you for upload, just let me know what you would like the tempering recipe to be.
Just curious, is this weapon free to use for other modder's or do you want to keep exclusive to your own mod?

I don't see it in her bedroom nor on the market stall in Riften.Found it.
Being too #SWAG to use a real dagger.
Ornate kitchen knives are badass enough.
Deal with it."
