This utility dont work. Look at what happens with the lighthouse: https://imgur.com/a/BAmVJJm I've got this same result generating LOD from CK. The LOD generator in CK is broken, when you try to generate LOD for the trees, it crashes. Oscape dont crash, but wont generate LOD for the trees either.
Hi! I'm having a problem using this tool. I have 64 bit Windows Vista and when I try to run the x64 version it fails saying "VCOMP100.DLL is missing". I can open the x32 version but it doesn't locate any mod files from my Skyrim data folder. I have already re-installed the program several times. I guess some other people are having the same problem. Does anyone know what might be the problem?
I am guessing I did something wrong but I used this before installing dyndolod and my map is all messed up and far away lod like water doesn't even show up so I can see lake beds, no water when I view lakes from far away... is there an uninstall procedure? don't know what I did wrong but trying to remove what this app did
Are there any plans to put out an update making this compatible with Skyrim's special edition? from what I hear, I believe their is a work around, but I'd rather not have to fiddle with things to much to try and get it to work.
Any reason why Oscape might get the size of your world wrong? it has to be a multiple of 1024, which mine is, at 4096 by 3072, but it THINKS it's 3840 for some reason.
I think there is some issue with oscape and the 64 bit creation kit with generating textures dds with a custom world space the normals and meshes generated just fine. but the texture dds would be black. At first i thought it was a mesh generating error since one of the tutorials i read mention 4 things that could go wrong and black lods was a mesh error. By fluke when attempting to generate every thing again i forgot to untickl png. So when looking in the folder with the normals and colors dds files I could see the dds textures were indeed black. Normals and meshes would generate just fine. I even loaded up the creation kit with just normals and meshes installed and yes i just got big purple lods as expected.
After two days of trying to get this to work. I decided to turn my esp into esm in the 32 bit creation kit and point oscape to old skyrim. After oscape was done i loaded up my esm in the 32bit creation kit no lods at all. (would tga created from skyrim special edition cause this) But i decided for the hell of it to move all of the lod data to skyrim special editions. For the hell of it i decided to move the data from old skyrim to special edtion and loaded the esm in the 64 bit creation kit and what do you know full working landscape lods To further test i decided to use that esm that i converted from an esp to a ems in the 32 bit creation kit and generate new lod files with oscape pointing towards the skyrim's special editions files. same issue as before black dds textures. So for the time being as i change the shape of my world i will have to point oscape at old skyrim to generate my lods files,

i have found a couple of other posts that seems to have had this problem with a post over in dark cratons and there is a reddit posting of the same issue.
