I have not been on in a while i apologize for any inconvenience i have caused with my grammar i am not american i am still learning and she has the same voice Astrid does. Everything is the same but the ID, scripts, and i boosted her health and skills by a bit so she's harder to kill and wont die easily by giants or something stupid like that.
your grammar will only get worse learning american english, learn the real english from England ( Oxford English Dictionary )... They have butchered our English Language...
i tried as well and noticed these threads are 1-2 years old i'd love to get her as a follower my followers will be complete any fixes let me know thank you
not working for me! please help i installed it and turned on , but she isnt in blue palace , she is in the burned down dark brotherhood place , standing like the real Astrid. i cant talk with her. (i tried all 3 mods , nothing works)
it made me cry when she died... Angrily i decided to make a mod where you dont have to join the darkbrotherhood and still find her. plus she's single so bonus for the player
did you get the updates i posted... i posted a fix and a hoodless version of her so you can see her face... i was playing and noticed i screwed up with her speech so i posted a fix immediately for it
honestly i dont know what mods might conflict with her. maybe speech mods are conflicting with her... oh and i suggest you install the hoodless or the original but dont do all 3. choose hoodless or hooded and get the speech fix.
I'll look into mods that are conflicting with her but for the mean time try disabling those (if you have any speech mods) and try using the speech fix with one of the armors for astrid. thanks for bringing that to my attention i'll look into it
This is tempting, but I have a question. How does this work? She is a unique voice character that has yet to say anything scripted as a person married to you would say. Examples: "I do. Now and forever.", "We're married, I guess we should find a home to live in. You can stay with me if you like.", and "I can. Here, this is fresh. I'll have some more ready tomorrow." It's unique voiced characters like her that make console commands/mods nearly impossible unless you have the actor or actress to say those words.
Hey this mod didn't work for me at first, then I fixed it up in the creation kit, she now can be recruited speaks, and shows up . If you want me to send you the fix tell me.

First off if the Dark Brotherhood Quest line has passed the point where Asrid has died but the Wolf Skull quest is completed, and I activate the mod, she does not appear in the Blue Palace at all. If the Dark Brotherhood Quest has not progressed to the point of her death she will appear. However, irrespective of these observations, like madmax2009a she is mute,no vocalising at all just the standard NPC Hmm.At least for me. This is using any one of the three esp's.(I cannot have 3 esp's with the same title running together) If you have a working version using any esp, whats your secret and what happens to her when the Dark Brotherhood Quest reaches the point of her death ? Does she disappear,or does she have a different ID to the original Astrid ? By the way, trying to 'activate' her does not bring up any options.
I only began the first few DB quests then went and got the wolf skull quest but didn't pursue it.. means I never even went to the cave, then with this mod 'bingo' it worked fine for me but only after D/l the Fixed the speech problem she had where you couldnt speak to her... patch.
she has a completely different id... im currently using the original main file where she is wearing her hood during the game when i tried talking to her i also noticed i couldnt talk to her so i uploaded a fix for her speech and installed that. use only one file with the speech fix and when i played the dark brotherhood quest i had two Astrid's. check the readme and it may possibly be that you have a mod conflicting with my mod. i made this npc for those who didnt want Astrid to die but if your also having a problem with the mod i'll try and see whats causing these errors. anybody else having errors with this mod please PM me whats happening and where your at. tell me all the errors happening. Started a fresh game on another hard-drive, new installation, only cosmetic & body mods. Got the Wolf Skull quest, joined the Dark Brotherhood & did the first set of contracts. I now have 2 Astrids in the sanctuary, the original that gives contracts and talks, the second that leans against the wall and says 'Hmm'. But no Astrid in The Blue Palace. I've tried Astrid hoodless and hooded no difference in the outcome. I think I'll give up on this, as I've now used nearly a whole day trying to find out whats wrong. As others have a working version it must be something at my end, though what I don't know. By the way,before I retired I was an I.T engineer and a Computer tekkie, so I'm not a complete novice when it comes to computers & gaming. Many thanks for your help tho'.
never said you were XD... but if she's spawning inside the sanctuary then i have no clue as to why... i've made a completely different character with a different character ID... the only things they have in common are race, voice, appearance, skills, inventory, and faction other then that they are completely different npc's and dont even have the same script. try not starting the dark brotherhood quest and going to the blue palace. sorry if this mod has given you so many problems.
