hey, you think you can make a compatibility patch for Complete Alchemy and Cooking? the raw hominid flesh(human flesh) does not register as human flesh for the requirement for the Sosjot mask tempering.
That's something I was trying to figure out myself. From what I can see, because the .esp is all in one, it will overwrite all the masks, no matter the load order. : /
If you guys are using Apophysis, that mod also uses an esp. They use them for different reasons. This mod uses its meshes to change the texture paths to repair them, but it still overwrites the vanilla textures directly. That means if you install this mod but disable the ESP, you'll still have its textures for the masks that are in-game, you just won't get all the extra psychosteves masks. Apophysis has completely different names for its textures than the base game has-it redirect to the new textures via base-game overwrite meshes. technically it doesn't need an ESP but only uses one because the author wants to pack the archive into the sealed BSA format, which needs an ESP to activate. if apophysis is in loose files form it doesn't require an ESP. If you have apophysis installed as a BSA but deactive the ESP you won't even have the textures anymore, it would revert to base-game textures because the BSA would become useless while not activated. You would be able to use both easily if you download Apophysis, unpack BSA, then also unpack psychosteves if it's packed up. rename all of Apophysis texures to have them take the place of their equivalent in psychosteves. krosis/bronze, hevnoraak/iron, volsung/corundum, vokun/steel, otar/marble, wooden/wood, nahkriin/ebony, raghot/greenstone, morokei/moonstone, and konahrik. This is going to mean taking the one labeled "krosis_mask" or whatnot and relabelling it to, i think, "dp_bronze", and "krosis_hood" renamed "dp_bronze_hood"-you can confirm the exact files by looking at them once you open it. make sure you do the same with any mipmaps and glow maps-all textures have their texture map saved under the _n, i think only Otar, Krosis and Konahrik have glowmaps with a _g. rename them all to match the PS texture names, overwrite psychosteves files in your folder you've got it all unpacked to with the newly rewritten-title apophysis titles, and repack the newly edited folders of textures, along with psychosteves mesh folder and psychosteves ESP, into a new archive. Install your edited psychosteves mod with your favorite mod manager and make sure your esp is active, it will get you all the right masks-this will get you apophysis textures for the main 10 masks, and you'll get Psychosteves acolyte masks and all his new designs. Do not install apophysis also at that point. Again, the only reason apophysis has an ESP is because it's a BSA. don't worry about installing it if you've got the textures where you want them. The ESP you need is psychosteves, or all his extra masks will just lie dormant and unusable.
place it further down in your load order or remove any loose files overwriting the .bsa archives. I hope you're aware that this isn't for special edition.
Psychosteve, this is one of my favorite mods, I love the work you have done here. I'm wondering if you could upload this to Xbox one? It would be awesome for myself and whole new community to experience it on a new platform. I'm sure many people would greatly appreciate it. Thanks again and I hope you consider it.
