It clearly shows what would a tail on a human look like. Indeed, Khajiit aren't supposed to look anathomically accurate or "realistic". First of all it's fantasy, and aren't even evoluted from cats, just mutated by the moon phases so they are ok to look like cat-human hybrids. By the way, you could have told me about this mod, or I forgot about it? Not that it's a problem it's just a quick edit for me.
Damnit, I was sure I edited this post, but I shouldn't trust a phone. I've realized what happened, I thought this was directly from Unique Beast Races, the newer model after I lose all the files. I don't really work on UBR though, I mean another guy is releasing at my place but I'm in the "team". So really no problem, excuse me.
Not sure If this mod is even being watched or read, those of you that state the tail is correct in vanilla, they are incorrect, it is too far down and you are trying to just animals that are not strictly bipedal, they have no ass checks so you can not compare this is a case of apples and oranges, however, the mod designer has the tail slightly too high, the middle of the tail should be even with the top of the ass crack. the best picture that I have found will be posted,
I find it weird when people put tails this high up on humanoid figures. I'm asking you to consider for a moment what a human-like skeleton would look like with a tail. The tail would naturally start where our own vestigial tail bone currently is. It can't start out of your lower back like this, because it's an extentsion of the spine, not a branch of it. The tail has to be fairly far down, right above the anus, as it is on real animals, nothing else makes sense.
you are also aware that human spines bend in under quite a bit also right? as it is in regression, argonians and kajiit tails are not but they use same models as every other race the rear end on them should look a little more different but it is what it is.
The tail should be exactly in between the two tail locations you've posted, should it not?... Yes, the tail is currently where the anus should be, but a cat's (Or Khajiit's) tail should be just above the anus.
This mod makes them to stick out over the arse, but vanilla ones are realistic because they extand the spine into a tail, and in the humane bodybuild of khajiit, where human/elf spine would stop pointing downwards ontop of the arse, it extands from that spot.

Sorry to ask but I prefer using that body replacer and hate that the Female Khajiit Tails are inbetween the butt.
