Hello o.o/ im just wanna ask before install this, my problem starts from the begining when i just install it from steam the aniversary edition and i always has that "dont respond" in the task manager for a few seconds in loading screen and crash , but its the only game i have with this problem, i can play elden ring with out any problem or i dont know, long horizon? too, but with skyrim i have that problem, any advise?
This mod is 10 years old when I have it on in some situations is so-so, sometimes it saves the hustle, other times it creates the problems. Since the engine is upgraded multiple times//sry I meant updated..meaning patched..some of the actual fixes might hinder the actual gameplay..meaning introducing newer bugs, thus we the buyers being tried, experimented on...look at AE vs SE// So..the old patches for the mods it might work for others and for the lot of us it's like farting in a bag....try it , if aint works for ya just dump it and look for something else. This mod patch looks like a fart patch for me also..as is, just like a used car happy bug hunting
Ever since downloading this mod, I have been getting extremely frequent CTDs it seems to have solved the infinite loading screens and the freezes, but if I do "enable only loading screen - true" I get the freezes again, so I put it back to false, but the CTDs are still in an absolute abundance.
What's happening is your freezes get turned into crashes by Safety Load. It's better to crash than to freeze because freezes can take your system down hard.
Safety Load will help to prevent infinite load screens and crashes, but it can only do so much. You probably have problematic mod(s) that use bad scripting / textures or conflict with each other.
I'm happy to say that this mod has fixed the infinite loading screen (ILS) that would happen to me going from interiors to worldspace at various times. I've played for over 10 hr. now with no ILS issues.
I am using this with LE (Legendary Edition) Skyrim, not SE.
I set 'EnableOnlyLoading = true' in SafetyLoad.ini (in Data/SKSE/Plugins) and the infinite loading screens are no longer occuring.
If I play using 'EnableOnlyLoading = false', the game will crash to desktop (CTD) in some areas of heavy memory use (Papyrus/animations). But these CTDs are not caused by Safety Load but rather a troublesome Papyrus script from another mod (which was causing freezes). So instead of freezing, Skyrim would CTD thanks to Safety Load (eliminating the need to shut down using Task Manager).
Endorsed. Recommended. Wish I had tried this mod years ago. Thank you!
It works perfectly.I bow my head to you, thank you so much for the fact that now I don't need to drink soothing drops, my nerves are fine. You are my savior. Gratitude is endless.
This mod is outdated. I personaly use "Crash fixes" with "nvac-New Begas Anticrash" with no crashes for hours of playing. Skyrim setup with up to 30 mods of most endorsed of places and quests (70GB disk space until now after using Ordenador for lower textures).
