Thank you so much for this! I've been looking everywhere for a simple farmhouse that didn't come with a ton of stuff. It's hard to roleplay as a simple farmer when you have so many luxuries. (Not that I don't appreciate their efforts. Just not what I'm looking for.)
I really like your mod. I always play on legendary, with RND and without followers, so i need poisons, health potions and food from the start of the game to stand a chance. But I am also RPG-ish oriented, so the fact that the house was free and had no back story kinda bummed me out. Also the proximity to the giants camp and the Silent Moon Ruins is kinda intimidating, without any fences around the farm. Still, this is the only mod I found that offers a small starter home with fertile soil, so I commend you for your innovation. I endorsed the mod. Great job.
Having the deceased owner's body nearby would explain why the cabin is unoccupied, like in Lund's Hut. Maybe the hostile creatures nearby weren't always there?
An alternative is leaving a note inside the house simulating it's an inheritance for the player character. It could be the reason he was traveling to Skyrim in the first place.
Whatever fits your RP story guys. You can consider it an inheritance. Or you can use is as it seems abandoned and who knows what happened to previous owner. Or you can pretend you killed previous owner.
This is exactly the kind of mod I was looking for. It's hard to fine a mod that just adds some nice farm space to do some planting which is much needed with mods like Requiem and RND installed. I have not had a chance to download it yet since I am away from my gaming rig but how many planter soils are in the lot?

Up to you imagination.
yeah, Requiem, Frostfall and RND in my own play-through was the reason I made the mod!
There are 2x4 in flowerpots and 36? (most likely) on the field nearby.
I always wanted my own place to plant stuff on, instead of raiding poor NPC's farms - even though for some reason, they don't mind.
Thank you
Back to endorse after trying ,really nice farm.
