The only thing I really dislike about this, is that you removed the enemies from the mines.
I feel like you should be able to clear the mines out to be able to lay claim to the mines as your own.
This way it's more rewarding for the player to strive to use this as a base.

Bandit dens get repopulated as the bandits respawn when the cell timer resets.

I like this mod. I installed it after I cleared the mine, because I always thought it would be a cool base and you supplied the opportunity.

    I do recommend this mod.

Nice work, but the enemies are needed, and more ore mines like those of marvel mine mod, Consider adding a 2nd version with the these features.

Really great idea! I have a marked dislike for mods that give the new character everything without having to work for it, so this "batcave" idea appeals strongly. Everything was as advertized when I first entered; however, on my very first return a few days later, I was surprised by the tell-tale sound of someone hammering at the forge. Turns out that the bandits had spawned in anyway -- though not all of them: just the last three you meet, in that large cavern by the forge. I cleared them out -- only to have them respawn again just a couple of days after that (i.e. in about half the time it usually takes the bandits to reappear); and again only those same three at the end. Maybe a conflict of some sort with RE - Real Estate? Because no matter now often I clear the bandits out, the Real Estate sign at the entrance says the mine is still infested with enemies and I can't buy it. To boot, the bedrolls aren't safe if you're running Realistic Needs and Diseases: I slept in the mine just once and got sick as a dog. Too bad, because I really wanted to use this mod as a stripped-down home base for a hunter-type build, though it's probably fine and still a cool idea for anyone not running those other mods.

My first thoughts was the same, to set the smelter outside the mine, like normal people do. Just think at the smoke inside the cave...

But then, looking at the big, round, natural cavity within the mine, i was more tempted by the idea of hidden base of operations (remember Dunbarrow Cove from Oblivion?), with very few signs of activity seen from outside.

    That should work for:

bandits hideout (they don't want to be seen)
    lonely wolf play-style (the same)
hidden hero base of operations (the same)

I know that the entrance and the existence of mine is not quite hidden but..
Maybe when i will level up my modding skills, i will make a better hidden entrance

Good point. It's not like the place doesn't have sufficient natural ventilation to handle it. Thanks for the response. Looking forward to trying it out.

Looks good. Only change I'd suggest is to move the smelter outside the entrance like at other mines. Thanks!

He he he, i removed keyword "LocTypeBanditCamp" assigned to Embershard Mine, so radiant quest should not include this location anymore

Quite a few quests can be directed to this mine.

Well modding is done at user's risk so as long as people understand the risks of installing mods (this one included) then I don't think this will be a problem for anyone. And since all those quests are Radiant quests, I doubt many people who install this mod will miss being able to do them...
