I was looking forward to try the latest ENB version, so i installed this and all the recommended files. Now this is where it gets weird. The sky, sun, stars, fire , and water all look beautiful. Not sure about ice. Something in your enbseries.ini causes all things not mentioned here not to render? making navigation somewhat difficult. In caves sometime I can see some walls, or parts of some NPCs. Outside, no land, no buildings, no terrain. I do have land reflections on the water, and if I run blindly through town, clutter items like barrels will appear for maybe a half second when they first come into view, but then they wink out. if I substitute Boris' default .ini, it works totally fine. With ENB not active, everything is normal. Any idea what I might look at? I spent over an hour swapping all the other files in and out to determine it is the enbseries.ini and only that. screenshot http://static1.nexusmods.com/15/images/110/223191-1386653737.jpg
Thats weird. what's your PC config ? Make sure you have installed Particle and SSS patch correctly. Make sure you have installed Enb reference/helper. If it still cause the problem then turn off all the 'Effect' parameters inside the game using GUI. Then tick them all one by one except the first two parameters to find out which parameter causing the problem. May be its for SSAO/Ambient occlusion. And if you use medium version then just use the update, you don't have to use the Main and Optional enblocal file. The update has everything it needs. Where did you take the screenshot ? Tell me the location, i'll check there.

It's a little hard to tell quite where I am. In Whiterun looking up toward Dragonsreach from above Heimsker. You can almost navigate by his babbling, but it's so easy to fall off the stairs. I bet you are right on the money with SSAO , my system is too old to run it. I had no problem using the .ini that came with .239 download with or without the patches, so I don't think it was them. Feels like as I approach a barrel or whatever, i can see it till the game tries to apply SSAO, then i can't see it anymore, and all the things I can see are exempt. i'llgive it a try in a little bit. Previously on game startup ENB would print a 'SSAO disabled' message, and I'd dismissed its absence as ongoing facelifting operations.
Well, it wasn't SSAO, won't even let me check that option, but it was one of the other things on that page of the editor... Not sure which yet, I had some contradictory results. It's working now, and after detuning from the 'medium nvidea' package, I'm approaching a playable framerate and working toward the look I like. As well as seeing buildings and stuff
Looks awesome i might try it, one question your first screen shot, the ground texture looks very well POM'ed and green how did you do that also how did you get such green and vibrant colors on the ground texture is that natural grass texture floor? Anyways looks awesome ill try it out.
Edit:Ill probably get around to trying it out before you answer but whats it like with elfx? Any tweaks you might suggest?
I dont use any grass/tree or any landscape mod as my rig is very low. Its the default one. But i do use Bethesda HD texture + HD 2K texture and SMIM. Its the combined result of these textures. And for the greener vibrant color, its for this Enb. I made it this way. I didnt try it with ELFX. But it works fine with COT and RLO except for the interior part of RLO. You can try it with ELFX but you may have to tweak the enb GUI to adjust it with ELFX
It seems this config has something like a "blur" or vibrancy to it, I would like to add that effect in a smaller degree to my own config/preset. Does anyone know how? What I'm reffering to is the "unsharpening effect" of the general image, so that the game doesn't feel so stark.
as a fan of both unreal and real I do enjoy this enb. well done gokugx! And if you dont like the DoF effect you, the user, can always fix it later so it matches your taste. Easy as hell and its even for free to do so.
The DOf and Ambient occlusion were turned off in the screenshot as you can see low fps (12-13fps). You would laugh if you hear my PC configuration : Dual core 2.5GHz, 3GB DDR2 and 1GB HD6570. Running Bethesda HD DLC with SIMM and SRO - 2k i even turn off DefferedRendering while playing, this give me 25-30fps
No but it seems interesting. i included common.fxh for UHQ effects but didnt check it. I didnt had time to check technique.fxh either. Currently i'm so busy with 3ds max for a animation. This mod was suppose to uploaded three days ago but i couldn't for this busyness. That xorchan shader framework / enhanced shader got my attention but i cant do anything unless i look on it beside i'm not a HLSL programmer
@GokuGX Glad to hear you have that kind of fps What you can do if you want Dof is to use Dynavision 2.2 that provides a rather good Dof effect without the rather heavy fps hit.

nono, is very ease to use, just copy and paste, and you have all effects in on effect.txt. file.
