Hello everybody. I've made the glaive fly as I throw it. It bounces around as it hits objects like Xena's chakram and it also returns, but as it returns it will hit you as it comes back. Ouch! Imagine getting hit by one of those flying blades come flying towards your head. I've borrowed this mods mesh and textures and put them to another mod called "throwing chakram". My custom mod almost works but except that this glaive only appears on the left hand side, but on the right hand side it's invisible. Does anyone have any idea on how to make the glaive visible when I equip it and use it on the right side?
Looks like someone didn't understand the reference. Thanks to Krull, bladed boomerangs are commonly called "glaives". It's been that way since the 80s.
Should make the glaive bigger. So its more visible when in hand and thrown. Such nice look to it. Wish it was an actual weapon instead of a spell so when I put it away its visible on my player.
Never mind I've already solved the problem. This weapon mod is designed to be a 1h sword while the Throwing Chakram is designed to be a 1h axe mod. So I used the Creation Kit to redesign the Throwing Chakram mod to be a 1h sword mod type. Once I've arranged everything, tested it and tried out the glaive. It worked perfectly. The only thing missing now is the glaives spinning sound effects.
I remember the movie, especially that creepy spider. It would be kind of cool if someone made a standalone mod mission with the widow of the web. Anyways, this is pretty cool, any word on if it’s throw able yet?
No one's commented yet on the fact that in the background of one of the screenshots, there's a pair of T-800 series Terminator endoskeletons using the forge?
Loved the movie. This would go great with the White Daedric weapon and armor mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/11678/?. That armor looks a lot like The Beast's warriors from the show.
Would be amazing if there was a land created in the theme of KRULL. With the Beast as final boss. and Ergo "the Magnificent", and a band of nine fugitives led by Torquil as npcs and followers. ah the good old 80s. when sword and sorcery movies where made one after another.
