THIS! I downloaded the other day and MAN! NOW THIS IS MORE LIKE IT!
I've been "playing with steel" for many years through SCA or really anywhere I can. I have never liked the casual "walk away" feeling of fighting in Skyrim. Now my character at least looks like they made an attempt to protect themselves. If I could endorse I would happily do so!
This mod is great. i totally recommend it. better than the other ones. because its instant. if you increase the walking speed a little bit it makes much more real and practical. cant endorse this file because it doesnt let me.. but it is great and bug free
It's very hard to use so most people use the other dodge mod that implements a dodge specific button. Personally I think this one is less intrusive and fluent in the gameplay.
There isn't an endorse button available for this mod it seems by the way.
Amazingly small mod yet it adds so much to the gameplay.
If you want it to work with two handed weapons make a copy of the animation files and replace the "1hm" with "2hm". Drop them back into Data\meshes\actors\character\animations and you're good to go
@darkevilhum Actually it's from the game files. In Skyrim the top part of your body can be doing something different than the bottom part. All the author has done is take vanilla stagger animations and rename them accordingly. Great mod, downloaded it months ago and I still use it.
