I like this perk mod. It doesn't drastically overhaul the current perk system, but it makes perk progression for some skills a lot more logical. I'm sure there are still some things that need to be ironed out, though personally I haven't run into any major issues (yet). Hopefully other players will be able to spot what needs fixing.

I do have one request though. Is it possible to add a "no helmet" perk for both heavy and light armor? Similar to this: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11769//?

First, sorry for taking a while to respond to your post. I will make a optional file with the 'no helmet' perk and as soon as I finished I will upload it. Any fix or suggestion is very welcome.

I've changed the perks Custom Fit, Well Fitted and Matching Set so they no longer require a helmet, however, due to balancing reasons perks like Windwalker and/or Tower of Strength require helmets.

      Thanks for downloading!

No problem. Thanks for the update! I'll be testing it within the next few days or so.

i think you should just make a new mod together, but if this is more convenient to u and everyone else then nvm then. just feel like this mod isnt a add new mod type of mod, more like a make it more logical/better of the vanilla perks. but like i said convenience should probably come first though.

this is a nice change to the perks but there seems to be one bug. while i got the extra effect skill at 40 on the tree it still would not let me add the second effect until i got my skill level to 100.

I'm not sure, the mod does not contain new perks, Wax Key and Quick Hands were removed; apart from that just values were modified. I suggest you to make a backup file just in case.

I like your idea, though I have skyrim redone, so it's useless for me.

skyRe adds a ton of perks, but most of them are useless and unbalanced.

Not everything can always match your playstyle.
And it's not that the perks are unbalanced, it's just that skyrim is too easy.
      I like skyre though.

It's not about matching to your playstyle nor the fact skyrim being easy.
Take a look at SkyRe, the creator added new weapons types and perks related to them, but sneaking, enchanting, alchemy and dual wielding still are overpowered, while two handed perks remained weak compared to other skills trees, the 'AI improvements' were barely noticeable to say the truth.
I've tested SkyRe and Requiem, in both of them most of the creatures/enemies can one hit kill you(in the lower levels), just think for a moment: you're using a steel/iron armor that can protect you from a deadly blow, in the other hand if a wolf bite you three times you die... similar things happen if you're playing on legendary, this forces you to grind your skills in a(n) unrealistic/boring way. This isn't how games are supposed to be, to a game be truly hard the AI should be smart, not overpowered.
I reckon that Skyrim is easy, but all Elder Scrolls Games are easy(at least morrowind/oblivion/skyrim), the reason for that is the game makes your character very weak in the beginning and a god-like being late game, level 40+.

Well, yeah... Sneaking with magic is stupid. Once I killed 10 dremoras in 2 hits.
But since each of them has the ability to one hit me also, I don't mind that.
If you ask me, one guy can't be enough to solve all the problems of the vanilla game, that a whole team of professional programers couldn't, but he still made the game more enjoyable for me, and that's the point of moding, right?

Does this support http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16471//? (Ishs Respec mod) ?

Yes. I just modified the original perks, the ID remains the same so the Respec potion should work fine, in any case you can add/remove perks via console.
