Installing the mod is not at all straightforward, but it's not surprising that it's not up to today's standards, considering the mod was last updated 12 years ago. I did get it working for my female wood elf on SSE after some fiddling with file-path names. I set up the mod folder for it in Mod Organizer with its file-path as: Throw Voice Audio fix\sound\voice\Skyrim.esm\femaleelfhaughty "femalewoodelf" didn't work, it only worked after I changed it to "femaleelfhaughty". But I did get it working, yay! Hey melon nose!
This fix does not work with the latest version of USLEEP. Any fix for this?
i found the way to fix it ! (for who still read)
USLEEP change the target from "Data\Sound\voice\skyrim.esm" into "Data\Sound\voice\Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch.esp" !!!!! (replace by "Unofficial Skyrim Special Edition Patch.esp" on skyrim special edition)
It's a decent fix, but one thing I'm wondering is why when I play as a male elf character, the Throw Voice sound effects for them are the male eventoned voice? Because male elf player characters actually have the same voice as the typical male High Elf such as Ondolemar. Is the Throw Voice sound effects for the male elf actually missing and that's why you had to use the male human voice instead?
Thank you for this fix. I was wondering why I wasn't hearing the voice. I'm doing my first character as a Wood Elf male. I just love hearing the voices xD "hey skeever butt!"
The thing as such works fine on the provided voices. But I wanted a throw voice for male Bosmer, so I created a folder for male woodelf and put in the sound files, but it doesn't work on him. Tried malewoodelf, woodelfmale, but nothing seems to kick in. Does anybody have an idea or knows, what else to do? Or if the mod author takes a look back into this, could you maybe provide male woodelves, too, if it isn't too much asked. =)
I'm answering to myself... LOL xD Hey guys, I found a solution for this problem! =)
If you want your male woodelf to use the sounds, copy the sounds and create a folder which is named "maleelfhaughty" (without quotes and yes, it really reads haughty, not naughty!!!). Was just browsing through the voice reference tool to find a possible solution and since I already tried all the other male voices and none of them worked, this one was the last possible. And see... it works! Yay!
