This mod is no longer supported and is provided on an "as-is" basis. It should still work fine for a simple fast-travel disabler without all the bells and whistles other mods have that also perform this function.
I've heard a rumor that it works fine in SSE, which I am currently working on my house mod for: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/27657
1.5.53 all patched+skse64. Mod not working. It is loaded in game. When try to fast travl, dont see lethers "travel to location, only YES NO.. when i click yes still teleports me.
Oh did you guys read the description? the author says in the file description "load order last," meaning you guys will put this in the bottom of your load order in the Skyrim launcher... that problem happened to me too, I got it fixed by putting this mod in bottom of my load order... try and do it, and it will work fine. :) Edit: If you guys use LOOT to do mod sorting LOOT will not put this mod to the bottom load order, and I'm suspecting that this mod is incompatible with Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/65013 because If IC-AI Overhaul is put in the bottom load order with FTD right next to it, FTD will not work, and you will get a fast travel notification with no description, just YES, NO, or PLACE marker. Anyway , AUTHOR? you still alive? can you confirm or fix this? In the mean time I will uninstall this mod because I'm getting CTD after I continue and load my game.
I've recently started playing Morrowind and BOY IS IT FUN! I can now fully understand why the hardcore Morrowind players are so disappointed with the newer games now. But anyway that's besides the point. It's good to know that there is now a way to fully enjoy this game even more.
I've never played Skyrim before, never watched any playthroughs or anything. But I've downloaded it recently. I've played FONV and 3 before and I installed fast travel disablers for these games too.
I don't know what to expect but I rememeber that I loved to gallop around in Red Dead Redemption, so Skyrim might a "colder and more medieval" version of that?
And yes, I'm downloading mods for it even before I play, just like I did with New Vegas, lol.
I am quite addicted to fast travel (I regularly use Anise's cabin cellar as THE save point and that satchel has an unusually massive collection of items in contrast to its size), but with all my custom-merged-edited travel-Skyrim-package followers, edited Immersive Patrols, edited Populated Roads, Extended Encounters and yadda-immersive-yadda, I am thinking of actually disabling fast travel. Great to have this small mod to know what changes I need to do in my custom small-gameplay-changes esp!
Sorry if this question has been asked before, but I was wondering if this mod is compatible with better fast travel ferry mod and the SWIFT wayshrine mod. I love having to explore, but being able to fast travel when the scenario permits it logically makes some fast travel permissible. Just wondering. Wonderful mod btw
Found out the answer, this disables fast travel entirely. Carriage and Ferry Travel Overhaul has an optional mod that you can install that only disables fast travel from the map, and it a great mod to use beside mods that make you fast travel from your inventory like Haven's Bag or the wooden mask that teleports you to the mask sanctuary.
