SSE POST - Because on the SSE Page comments are locked.
So - FOR ANYONE knowing the TRUE CAPABILITIES OF THIS MOD - as it was in OLDRIM
There's a German Translation File of this mod on Nexus - https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/2739
Under OLD FILES - there's Realistic Lighting Overhaul SSE - VERSION 4.0.8.2
Version 4.0.8.2 - IS THE VERSION which is ACTUALLY DARK AS INTENDED and which made this mod stand out in the first place.
ANYTHING AFTER 4.0.8.2 received vanilla brightness of interiors as the author stated (since some whiney users complained). You may check the documentation file (version history) coming with this original SSE mod here to find exactly this point.
After installing the correct 4.0.8.2 German Version - it is fully functioning the way most will remember it.
Following I'll post what he shared in the Documentation and his post:
4.1 is NOT 5.0 - is is basically the same as 4.0.8.2 with vanilla ambient lighting. We have removed the ambient lighting bug. 4.1 is a very quick hotfix, turns ambient back to Vanilla. Most cells will look a lot brighter. We will not be releasing any darker or brighter options for 4.1.
"I can't make everyone happy. I had more people complain about the v4's being too dark - so we bumped the general ambient lighting for all interiors for v5. "
I tried this, didn't like it as much as I thought I would. It's really interesting, and very realistic, but for me, it takes away the game's "charm". It's also very, very dark in interiors. However, for those that want a more gritty, realistic look, and more of a challenge when you're outdoors at night, this is the mod for you.
best lighting mod ever!!, i tried all the lights mod at nexus but yours is the best. your mod + enb+ imaginator + Dof + laterns of skyrim = amazing, Also works amazing with Ethereal Clouds plus True Storms.
I have the same Nightingale Blade blindness as ndlive. I need to either stop using this mod or that weapon.
The problem with darker interiors/caves is two fold. The enemies can see just fine and Bethesda eliminated so much magic effects in this game. AFAIK (and I'm level 55 right now) there are no spells or potions for seeing in the dark. Hells, there aren't even better light spells. Furthermore there has never been a way to cancel or DISPELL magical effects, lame. So when I'm sneaking about the last thing I need is a beacon (Candlelight) floating over my head.
Version 2.0+ (Continued by Pluto and others) can be found here: Realistic Lighting (( File not found, The file you requested was not found in our database. ))
I also recommend Superl3 ENB (which includes this mod) (( File hidden, This file has currently been set to hidden by the author of the file. You cannot look at this file page or download any files relating to this file until the author makes the file visible to the public again. The reason given by the author is: for next-gen ))

Absolute zero fps loss (AMD 5700, 4GB, 1Gb VRAM),
Not unrealistically dark that leads Jarl baalgruf sitting in his throne is shadows,
Great saturation balance (using imaginator)
Now is or anything resembling this with DLC compatibility? Please let me know if there is...
