So I install the mod multiple different times and nothing looks like the pictures i see on this website? I have also found a key in which I think it goes to the ship door, but it does not unlock anything?
I always install manually, which means I use Winrar to open all my mods. When I went to open this one, it said it was corrupted, which sucks because part 1 worked fine. Any clue why or how to fix it?
Sry Im late, not sure this even matters anymore but Im gonna post anyway for ya. SO! Go where you're doing this manually I usually always used 7Zip, could try using that? Or maybe try an older version and if you can get the ESP to the new one I'd replace it and see if that would work
I played the map, everything worked fine, but the zora tunic and the noble sword are invisible for me. when i put on the zora suit, i'm just a floating head. any suggestions?
Super late but Im gonna help anyway, I kinda fell out of the modding scene for College BUT! I'd say to download one of the old files and extract the Mesh/Texture manually and place them or uninstall and install an old one, then reinstall a new one and overwrite
I just now seen your post, sorry about that man. Make sure you have part one installed as well or you'll run into issues where I carried over a few things but this mod doesn't take place in the DB area, thats how you'll find the cabin for Part 1, this one you head south from the cabin until you get to the Cyrodiil boarder and there's a cave off to the side of the road
Hey man, I'm gonna try to address these in the order ya put em out for me:
Starting Quest in Part 2: Due to SEQ requirements and all the bugs I ran into I had decided it wasn't worth the time to lay out an actual quest line but to actually do it in a "Hardcore Mode" which is a figure out where to go based off the items you get method. If it wasn't for that update in the middle of working on it then I wouldn't have had as much issues and probably would have had a quest line.
Starting the Quest in Part 1: If he has the latest version there may be a problem with the because I had to go in and make some adjustments because it was running over into the DLC " Dawnguard " but the best route for that is a after the mod is installed save in a new save slot, restart, and then go into the Strange Shack. If that doesn't work I've had some people even tell me that after they get into Tarm Ruins the Quest picks up. The only thing about the quest not picking up would be no compass marker and it wont be in the Journal. But it would still be playable and the dialogue should still work.
Island Chief: Hes not gonna talk sadly....SEQ file issue yet again. There's a book with the dialogue in front of him you can read, I even had the audio recorded and everything for all the major roles when I ran into issues. What had happened was I was already half way complete with the mod, saving the quest line and dialogue for last when I updated my Skyrim and Creation Kit. When this happened I now needed SEQ files to make anything like that activate so I thought, "Meh no big deal, I'll watch a YouTube video and figure it out." But after trying all these different techniques with nothing working I just had given up. Someone I worked with later down the line told me it was because I had worked on it before on an older version and that I would have to rebuild the mod from the ground up. Alone doing this thing was rough already so remaking it was not gonna happen, so I just wrote out the dialogue and quest in notes and scattered it around like I did with Maples notes in Tarm Ruins.
I hope I helped you someway, there is a console command for Tarm Ruins quest, the quest ID for it will be OOSTR 10 [Met Subrosian in Shack] I had to break out my old note book to find that so I wouldnt have to mess with the CK HaHa, its such a chore to even open it to me now and days HaHa
Okay I'll let my friend know about this post lol..... I was watching his stream and saw alot of bugs going on X.x Thanks for getting back at me He'll be happy to ready this! Keep up the great work
Thanks man, but honestly I got burnt out with this one on so many levels, this was not a one man job by any means HaHa but I'll still address bugs the best I can. I just dont check as often as I use to.
i think... i got a problem ._. after going into the cave/falls, i didn't see anyone inside. i only saw some books (and i guess the book of someone that couldn't wait for me XD) then i jumped into the falls and got teleported to the uhm... sea i guess? it had holes EVERYWHERE. and the island didn't even show up... i did a quick test walkthrough so after uploading it you can see what i mean (and maybe help me?)
Oh lord that doesn't sound good at all, I had the situation with holes in the sea not long ago but I had went back over and fixed that, Im thinking the LOD may have made new ones when I generated it. There's one thing you could try, not sure if it'll work but its worth a shot, uninstall the latest one you just received. Install the older version from earliest one up, Don't install the newest one yet. See how that looks and how it works out. If still the same then somethings not right at all. If it fixes and things look better than before then go with that version because the LOD had to of screwed up more things than it has fixed. It actually comes thru quite well for me honestly but then again I have all the resource files already packed in. Keep me updated on how it turns out.
okay i will try it if i got the time. also here is the glitch(?) in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uqaK1UXaD1c ( i later found out how to use tcl but at that time i already deinstalled the mod) maybe it didn't show up becuase i set my skyrim textures to medium and not ultra? (i didn't want to try it out becuase i knew my computer wasn't able to do that)
I really appreciate that, Ya know I actually have the world space and zone complete for the 3rd part but my last Semester of College really just took all my time from me so I never got a chance to complete it. Honestly this project has been way overwhelming for a 1 man job but seeing that there's at least a few people still interested I'll try to make plans to complete part 3 as well as getting LOD implemented for all parts.
