As said in the comment before this the rock is a bit annoying. Unfortunately the house is located in the same place as buildings other mods add. I lost my community college *pout* I enjoy most things about this home though so I left it. I wish things like the potion on the table were potion storage of you activated it (as seen in other player home mods) and maybe the pie on the table was food storage XD fufufu but awesome home I picked this mod over the others that this building conflicted with and Im happy with that choice

Thank you and I am sorry it wasn't in a better location. I've made many mods since this one and have learned a lot since then so if I create a similar mod to this it will be in a better location and will have some improvements.

Edit: I removed that rock, added some items to the interior such as containers for more storage, a shrine to Talos and cleaned it with TES5Edit.

Ok...I've looked it over and for the most part its excellent...however...There are a few things to consider. The ramp to the place ends right in front of a big rock, you have to walk around. It seems to me its too far from the road it should be closer, besides its right in Bri's garden! (Bri's house mod). You stashed some high end goodies in the cupboard, a bit overboard for a new player. You have a work bench and tanning rack, but no smelter, anvil, or grindstone. They are necessary items if you want to enhance weapons, since you have the arcane table (but no gems). I would put the work bench and tanning rack off the porch and in back of the place and add a smelter, anvil, and grindstone. put a two chairs and small table on the front porch. The two beds are fine, one for the player one for the follower, there should be two chairs also, preferably at the table, would look more "lived in" that way. Daedric armor on a new player? kinda spoils the immersion, At this point he wouldn't have the perks or skills to upgrade the weapons let alone all the material. I didn't notice any Daedric arrows to go with the bow! This certainly a good mod, good for a starter place or a good wayside rest for advanced players. With a few "tweaks" ....like move it to the road, add the anvil, grindstone, and smelter, (workbench and tanning rack in back) possibly a small vegetable garden (there are no 7-11's in Skyrim) Drop the high end stuff in the cupboard, you wind up with a nice place that can be used by both new and seasoned players. Good luck, hope you can make the changes!

Doh! I knew I forgot something. Was thinking about an anvil but I completely forgot the grindstone. You make some good points. As for the high end goodies, I created this more for a quick start and someone playing the game for the 10th time who quickly wants to get into the action.

I will be putting up an update with some changes.

2 beds, but only 1 chair not even at the table? Other than that it seems like a good place for a starter home.

The place is rather small and I didn't want it to be overly cluttered but now that I have been in it a while I think it could have a bit more of a lived in look. If the interior was slightly larger I would have definitely done so. I removed one large table and chairs since there simply wasn't enough room.

Beauties and Beefcake Luxury Suite is, well, right there! If someone had BBLS installed they would conflict, I'm nearly positive!
( Of course, putting a "starter" home next to BBLS would be silly! )
    Just an observation.

Yes I have used that mod. Then again I didn't create my mod to replace that mod or any other mods.I also didn't create it to grab the title of one of the Top Skyrim Mods Of All Time titles either. I couldn't compete with such mods as I don't have enough knowledge of the CK. I know a fair bit and do put time and thought into what I create and suffer from OCD a little so am extra careful in trying not to make mistakes.

I was pretty sure BBLS was further south and in a different cell but I could be wrong about that. I thought it was directly across from the battle-born farm. Haven't used that mod in a while but will have to load it up again and see.

Why does every one add Daedric armor to what is supposed to be a house for a new character? A full set of Leather and a full set of Steel with a assortment of steel weapons seems more like it. Nice step up from the starting gear but not over powered and gives you a choice on light or heavy.

I use Daedric because I like how it looks. If you want a better explanation of why read my reply to Elianora. Oh and you are not forced into using any of the items. You could sell all items and donate the money to the Temple of Mara.

Daedric armor and weapons are not God Items. Go up to a high level creature that you shouldn't be messing with at low level especially if you are playing on a harder difficulty setting and they will mop the floor with you even if you are in Daedric armor.

Try this run up to a mammoth with the Daedric Armor on attack it. You will notice you have an armor rating of 120. Now doing what I just told you to do is not very smart because it will 1 hit kill you. Now do what i just told you again but this time in Steel and Iron armor. I did so with a mix of steel and iron with an AR of 79. Again I was 1 hit killed.

If Deadric armor and weapons are God Items why was I so easily killed? Doesn't seem very godly to me.

Now take that same armor or even iron armor and pump up the stats on it and throw on plenty of enchantments and all of a sudden you can soak up lots of damage. With high enough stats and the right enchantments you might be able to kill it before it kills you. Still not the most clever thing to try at level 1.I find that Deadric armor makes little difference but I do like the look of it.

However...some of the spell tomes could possibly be considered God Items. But I don't have enough magicka to use them till I am about level 15 or higher anyways. If I slapped on a bunch of crazy enchants on the Daedric armor I could be casting spells left and right and not have to worry about magicka. But I didn't create any such items that would allow me to do so. Which is why it says there are no God Items. Do you see what I am getting at? Some people are looking for that. I made it clear I did not create such items. Nothing wrong with such items but I did not create such.

For example there is a mod on here that puts you at level 81, with 100 in all skills, all perks, high weapon speed, 99999999999999999 carryweight, all spells, all powers, all shouts, unlimited magicka etc. I would say that is pretty Godly. I could probably 1 hit kill most things using that mod. Sounds pretty godly to me. I am sure there are 1 hit weapon mods on here.

Now to quote you...."OP for starter home.." It is a starter home. It doesn't have any buttons inside that you can push to watch the room around you transform. It doesn't have a bath, toilet and running water. It doesn't come with 20 npc's that cater to your every whim. It doesn't have any special created armor or weapons that prevent death or allow you to unleash it like some god.

And last but not least my mod is in the "cheats and god items" section. What are you doing in the cheats and god items section? Hmmm?Op huh? Are you sure about that?

      tl;dr

      Edit:

BTW I really like the look of your Thiefs Hideout. Will have to try it out later.

Looks like it would be a nice mod, but since your server is unreachable, it cant be downloaded,.....sorry

The Nexus Server is unreachable? How is that possible? Mods can be download from many different locations on the Nexus.

      Edit:

I just noticed that it says the file is syncing because I am a normal member not a premium member. So I guess you now have to be a paying member to upload files and have them available immediately?

Just checked again and it is still syncing. My mod is tiny. This is very odd. Now you have to pay to upload your mods if you want them available to the public?

The Nexus has always been so slow for me and lately has been even worse. Took forever just to upload the mod and finish the process because of the slow connection and bad gateway errors that always pop up when on the Skyrim Nexus.

I don't know? Usually when a mod is on the list its downloadable. Since I can get into Nexus Mod Manager and the mods themselves I wonder why the server is "unreachable" Some times its overloaded. which could be the case, or its down for maintenance, which I have encountered also. Often if the main server is out it will switch to another in a different location. But that's not happening in this case. Its only showing "error" ...."server unreachable" I would check with Nexus to see what's up. I think this mod would be nice as I do a lot of "adventuring" and keep "follower" in houses were they would be readily available when needed. It also make for good places to sleep, recharge weapons, and store items till I have enough to sell to local merchants. these little "wayside cottages" are perfect for my use!

Well I just noticed the article on the main page about Premium Membership and was reading that. Anyways I uploaded the file again. Hopefully there will not be an error with this file and it will be available sooner. I keep getting bad gateways etc on the Skyrim Nexus. Soooo slow...oh well.

OK it must have been a problem with the server...I just got it to download! (after 12-15 trys!) I'm going to look at it now in the game.

When you upload it uploads to one server, then syncs to the other mirrored servers. People downloading will get hit and miss till the file has finished syncing to all servers. But if the mod is only small there maybe a syncing issue backend.

The shack looks good, and seems to work fine. Nicely done. I won't be keeping it though, because the overwhelming loot is too much for me to resist (full daedric armor and weapons, dozens of amulets, etc.) and it's just a stone's throw from the ever-popular BBLS. http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/11427//?

Perhaps somewhere not as occupied would be better?

Lol thanks. Yeah well I have restarted so many times that I wanted to speed up the start a little. I usually use other armor at first with low level enchants. Then later on I switch to Daedric and some of the other quest given light armors. I was thinking of having a cheat free version without the free items.I could always upload that and making such changes is very easy to do.

Yeah somewhere less occupied is a good idea but I chose the location because of location and navmeshing. Navmeshing interiors is easy. Navmeshing exteriors gives me some problems. I try to create clean error free mods and while I find it easy to navmesh new areas the CK loves to give me errors when working with exteriors even though the navmesh looks perfect.

I could easily create entire villages even worlds....its the exterior navmeshing that gives me problems sometimes. So for now I try to stick to the simple and error free.

This look intersting. But It looks like it may use the same cell as Skyrim comunity college. Has any tried this? Off to work for me, maybe later.

I haven't tried that mod but it does look very close to mine. If I remember correctly I think mine uses the cell Tamriel 10,0. If Skyrim Community College is in Tamriel, 10,0 then they share the same cell. It looks like that mod might be just a little further north then mine and in a different cell.

I will download that mod and check but it might not be for a little while as I have to leave soon.
