    This mod is pretty... well, insidious. The ebony mace is one of my favourite weapons in the game and I had NEVER noticed this weird thing circling it. So screw you for making me notice it and I'll be downloading and endorsing your mod. >:|

    It appears to be some kind of band around the blades, possibly to make removing it from heads easier or just ornate cloth to keep it in style with other Ebony items. With it removed the Mace looks more like a multi-headed axe.. personally I like the original design but it could do with more definition of the bands/cloth.
