I got permission to upload some of the weapon replacers, [from expanded skyrim weaponry] so i'll check on that soon. For the replacers, i'll give Dual Sheath Redux compatibilçity out of the box, as in, as soon as it's installed and you run the patcher, the weapon should work.
The vanilla shape for the weapons have a DSR pack also, and it will eventually be uploaded at the DSR main page.
Attention for anyone who wants to use the same weapons shown: They are models by InsanitySorrow [just search insanity on the nexus] and i can't share them. You may need to [extract bsas and] manually install, rename and tweak some meshes to get them working exactly like this. Thankfully, you don't need to use them on the normal glass armor, as this set still has its own weapons.
My settings for the greatsword are scale 1.5 and translate 2 on Y axis. I hope this gets you interested in researching how to install these great meshes [and textures. This uses the alt texture option for the glass sword, of course] manually, and improve your game to your own tastes bit by bit.
I'm beeeeggiiinngg someone to bring this to Special Edition as a replacer to the stock glass armor. There are no mods for it and the ones that use this model make them as different items! D:
I have made a retexture for the standard glass armor and by request ported it to work with your models from Vvardenfell Glass Armor. I did not use any assets from any mods but the mod would work as an addon to your mod. Would it be possible for me to upload it?
Here is a screenshot: https://prnt.sc/i5c4lf (still work in progress, only a port I made in 10 min).
Well, it's not my model, and i don't play in first person most of the time unless aiming at distant targets. :p Sorry, i can't fix that. It's not my model.
I don't recall installing this, but I've been finding bits of it over the last couple of days and I have to say... It looks awesome. Really just wish I knew which file I have that's added it haha.
There is a file elswhere with extra colors, but i'll not do it to this one because
1: it is not my work. I could easily do it with just a hue adjustment, but so can you 2: this armor is based off the original morrowind glass armor, which is green like this. 3: This mod is just a standalone, mergeable option with easily modable weapons. Useful if you don't want to install specially big compilations.
So, nope, this mod is likely done - it'll only be touched if something specially buggy or important arises and requires it to be edited.
Just a thought... But maybe perhaps you could add a version with a mouth cover on it...? I thought it would make sense since the eruption of Red Mountain would have left you choking on ash, and since you would like to have this set found in Solstheim it would perfectly make sense.
Plus, it adds even more originality to the armour set, and would probably look just plain bada*s!
Oh, and does this work with the Better Fitting Glass Helmets mod?
1: It's not my mesh, you can see it in the credits. I'm actually not very sure -who- did this version, as it was based on Bingle's splinter glass armor, and appeared on morrowind armor, armonizer, and immersive armors v7. I checked both mods, and found little info on it. Thus, i can't really edit it, at least, not fully. If i'm not wrong, tho -the mask uses a retexture of the clavicus vile mesh with transparency to cut it after some point. You can imagine that while it'd work for humanoids, khajiits and argonians would be left out.
2: I'd think not. The helmet mesh of this armor has at least 3 different meshes. Glass helm itself, clavicus vile mask for the eye covers and the glass spikes. You could try to replace it yourself with nifskope, of course. The tutorials i'm uploading will cover nifskope usage/editing soon. Just check my files or search for Keizaal Vuldak Aak (Which is Skyrim modification guide in Dovah ;3 )

And with what other sets can you compare its armor rating?
