v3.00final This is it guys, i've worked alot these past few days to reach this update and i am finally happy enough with the result that i can now safely leave this preset and move on to a new one, there will be ofcurse support and updates for future binary updates from Boris but the preset won't change much. My eyes will always be on the page so i can assist anyone that needs help or wants to provide feedback.
Change log is too long in this one to remember, just see for your selfs
==================
v2.60 Even though v2.50 was a big improvement in quality lets face it, it wasn't natural at all (in my opinion) this version goes back to natural
- Updated for the v0.244 binary - Fixed really bright sun reflection on water - Redone the bloom (still work to do) - Fixed dark particles in interiors - More balanced nights
==================
v2.50 - Improved broken nights from v2.00 - Again color re balance - Now when DOF is enabled the image will get sharper in combinations with sweetfx the result is amazing but needs powerfull AA. - Improved skylighting (again) - Improved sky and clouds
==================
v2.00 - New modified DOF (credits to arsil and Kyokushinoyama for original enbeffectprepass.fx file.) - Fixed slow game start up time (credits to Kamui13 for the help) - New cloud settings. - Re-balanced colors. - New skylighting settings. - Improved performance. - Updated the data files.
You were not kidding when you mentioned improved performance, I'm getting 55~60 fps almost everywhere!
I have a question regarding CoT, should I use the interior plugins from CoT? If I use them the interiors get way more darker than what I can see on your screenshots although I should mention I'm not using RLO, I'm using Relighting instead.
Do not use any interior plugin from COT just the default experience with the default nights. Both RLO , ELFX , ELE and Relighting should work fine with this but if you find any problems or incompatibilities please report it
Hey lucid ! I have a gtx 960, and i have 10 fps, is it normal ? What i need to modify in my skyrim.ini ? I've forgot something to do ??? Please, i need help !
You mean that white glow around them from the first picture? If yes then try to switch of the enb and see if that glow is still there, if it is then the problem is a lighting mod and there is nothing the enb can do.
Thank you for the feedback and report As i say on the main page "Please keep in mind that because COT has a lot of different skies there might be a moment that something might not be exactly right, but that would be rare and nothing extreme or game breaking will occur just letting you know "
Some weathers will look better and some worse, COT has a lot of different weathers and it's very hard to get it just right with the same settings for every single one. On the plus side though i might bring an update soon that will make things look much better.
3.0 seems too bright with clear weather. These screenshots are made with minimal in-game brightness:
With default brightness it's even more brighter. I didn't have such problems with previous versions of your preset. I'm using Climates of Tamriel, Realistic Lighting Overhaul and ENB binaries version 244.
Oh wow, i've tested for alot of hours to make sure everything is pretty much balanced. As for the sun i suggest you use this mod http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/42492/? the "Realistic Sun and Sunglare - a ENB Edition" . I will go back to testing, sorry for this.
Edit: Also did you do what i mention above? "For the best result with this version and from now on, use COT - Weather Patch by prod80 - Aiyen - Saerileth with the -40% less brightness snow option."
The simple Climates Of Tamriel - Weather Patch version download, not the enb one.
Thanks for the advice about Weather Patch, i just forgot about this option, now snow looks OK.
And about sun, yes i'm using "Realistic Sun and Sunglare", but with CoT and your preset sun looks too big even with no sun replacers. I made some screenshots, all with CoT, CoT - Weather Patch, your preset version 3.0 and default brightness.
Without sun replacers (default CoT sun):
With "Realistic Sun and Sunglare - Climates of Tamriel Edition":
With "Realistic Sun and Sunglare - ENB Edition for Climates of Tamriel":
ENB disabled, defalult CoT sun:
ENB disabled, "Realistic Sun and Sunglare - Climates of Tamriel Edition":
For me the last variant looks better (may be with warmer color, this option also available).
Thank you for the feedback and the screenshots the "Realistic Sun and Sunglare - ENB Edition for Climates of Tamriel" is what i use and it seems to look fine
This is how snow looks to me with v3.00 https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1982x1120q90/545/qeaj.png https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1982x1120q90/829/i5ep.png https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1982x1120q90/89/hjj2.png https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1982x1120q90/841/rzmm.png https://imagizer.imageshack.us/v2/1982x1120q90/62/hd6e.png
Indeed, the sun is bigger in version 3.00 because i increased the strength of sunrays. Test it out yourself , go to enbseries when playing and at the RAYS section play with the settings
And this is without ENB (i just pressed Shift+F12):
There is the same thing without any night sky replacers too.
Edit: It seems that MoonDesaturationNight and MoonIntensityNight are too high. I changed it to 0.0 and 1.2 correspondingly and now Masser and Secunda looks mostly normal.
And again about nights. In 3.0 nights still are very bright. I'm using Climates of Tamriel (CoT) and Realistic Lighting Overhaul (RLO). CoT plugins for darker nights (even 7) doesn't get any significant effect. What i should to adjust? I tried to modify DirectLightingIntesityNight and AmbientLightingIntensityNight - nights became darker, but night sky became darker too; moons and stars are too dim.
Thank you i am glad you like it. I will make an optional download for darker nights or post a small quick guide so users can do the changes themselves. I will do it today.
I know this may sound really weird but for some reason my Skyrim takes a lot longer to load when I use this preset. I don't have this problem with any other ENB preset. any ideas?
It's because of the latest binaries from Boris, or at least that's what i thought until now. Have you tried a preset with the latest binary that loads faster? If yes then i need to look into it.
your preset loads slow with older binaries too (tested 2.41 and 2.39, same results) All the other ENB presets I have tried (using 2.43) load way faster (tested Bleak ENB, Somber Lut Sepia, Skylight ENB and Poupouri ENB)
Edit: To give you an idea, this preset makes Skyrim take around 50 seconds to reach the main menu. All other ENBs I have tried take 5 to 8 seconds.
Edit#2: The problem seems to be with the "enbeffectprepass.fx" file. I started doing some testing and after I replaced this file with the enbeffectprepass.fx file form another ENB the game started loading normally.
The increased load time is due to all of the parameters in enbeffect.fx and enbeffectprepass.fx being connected to the GUI. Every time you load your game, ENB recompiles the GUI, so more GUI-adjustable parameters results in longer compilation time = longer startup time. Personally, I don't mind the longer load time, if it means I'm able to customize nearly everything in the ENB GUI.

There is a new "Aeon - ENB Natural Project.esp" inside the data folder, it make changes to water so make sure you load it after any water mods.
For the best visual result, please use the following mods.
COT - Weather Patch by prod80 - Aiyen - Saerileth
download the simple version not the enb one and during the install select the -40% less brightness snow option.
Realistic Sun and Sunglare - a ENB Edition
Better Dynamic Snow

I looked into your enbeffect.fx but it has very many differences from original file.

I've played around with the settings but I just can't seem to get rid of the effect?
Edit: I've installed all the mods you've mentioned as required/recommended including the Realistic Sun for Climates of Tamriel and Vanilla
With disabled ENB, far from ideal, but better anyway:
This is with Climates of Tamriel (CoT), but vanilla cloudy weathers looks mostly just as this.
As i say on the main page "Please keep in mind that because COT has a lot of different skies there might be a moment that something might not be exactly right, but that would be rare and nothing extreme or game breaking will occur just letting you know

Edit: Love the screenshot with the enb on
