    I have put Skyrim on ice since a longer time and I won't do anything here anymore.

    Some People have problems with mining ore in mines or wood chopping.

    For me that rarely occurring bug about not getting ore is older than this mod.
    I had to re-enter the mine to be able to work the nodes.

    But I never had problems with chopping wood
    or mining out in the open.

    !!! Made some screenshots of chopping/mining !!!

    Try 1.7. It doesn't have free cam for mining/chopping
    or remove that part from 2.x with Tes5Edit.

    NEED TO ADD that ...
    before this mod I sometimes had to click a mine 3 times to finally get ore in 3rd person. So, issues related to this could be caused by the Skyrim engine instead of this mod.

    Some little hints about CTDs in general :
     
    -Always use the mem patch integrated in the latest SKSE !
    -Try and clean your save with
    http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/ ( RTFM !!! )
    or http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53045/ which I never tried
    -Run scripted mods, e.g. Wet & Cold, with just your most desired features activated.
    -Save frequently / don't overwrite !
    -I personally don't fiddle with uGrids 
    -BOSS and common sense/Tes5Edit instead of LOOT (just my personal preference until LOOT is 100% reliable)
    -Don't enable papyrus logging unless you really know what it says or to provide someone with a log
    (can put non-experts like me on a false trail and might slow the game down, I heard)
    -Keep your modded game sorted with an organizer like NMM
    -Make a backup of everything related to Skyrim from time to time (especially the folders "Skyrim" (order lists), "Surazal" (BOSS), "Black Tree Gaming" (NMM) in C:\Users\...\AppData\Local
     
    I rarely have any CTDs which I also can never reproduce ALTHOUGH
    I am using some mods that have unstable features (Player Headtracking, Athletic Training)
    along with safe mods (Run For Your Lives, When Vampires Attack) , Wet & Cold,  Splashes of Rain, USKP, UDGP, UDBP
    and Get Snowy, Simple Multiple Followers, Fight Or Fly etc.
    Most of those rare CTDs seem to occur when fighting off a dragon attack triggered by Deadly Dragons, but never after reloading.

    Works perfectly if you're using a playable child mod... the only problem I have is the conflict between this and Enhanced camera, which causes first person to bug out when you mine for ore.

    I use Skyrim Enhanced Camera ( https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/57859 ) and this mod messed with the camera so it doesn't work right anymore.
    I have uninstalled and deleted this mod, and it is still happening, how can I undo what this mod did?

      2018? hopefully its not too late. anyways modding 101. Dont delete mods mid playthrough, you are gonna have a bad time. By doing that you messed up your save game. Revert back to a previous save with out this mod, maybe that will fix it if it doesn't well you have no choice but to start a new game. Sometimes you have to learn the hard way. Its true you can use the script/save cleaner, but you shouldn't be deleting mods mid playthrough in the first place.

    I was wondering if anyone has tested this for Skyrim SE? I have been looking for an alternative mod but can't seem to find any. I really need a mod that does exactly what this one does that is compatible for Special Edition. So if anyone has tested this on SE, or knows of an alternative, please reply.

    What Mod would fix markers* like thee original mod that is mentioned? I'm having a line bag apart from all else,just looking for a possible pack. @4mention "... is stupid. Originates from my 1st private mod that ReVamps an NPC.

    Found a problem with your plugin - When using the new Wrye Bash beta2, your mod is fully merge-able into the Bashed Patch .. Which is a good thing seeing as it saves everyone a plugin slot in the Load Order maximum amount in use :

    Problem = Wrye Bash is a lot more detailed now at how it handles header versions and record versions, and merges them also into the Bashed Patch. Your mod we believe was created by a process of copying records with something like TES5Edit, into your plugin .. Including the original masters versioning.

    After the game loads, and it tries to load the merged Bashed Patch which now includes you plugins records and versioning, the game then freezes.

    This problem came to light in the Skyrim Wrye Bash comments and was eventually narrowed down to another mod which has been made in a similar fashion, and then EVT was noted as causing the same problem by another user.

    Beermotor has given this a thorough investigation, and it turns out the solution is simple ..

    Your mod needs loading up in the Creation Kit, and then resaved. Thats it (well apart from a bit more cleaning if the CK randomly decides to infamously throw some dirty edits in there).

    The problem is the plugins were created by copying across records from the Skyrim Masters, using probably TES5Edit. Thats fine so long as the records versions are also updated afterwards by putting the plugin through the CK.

    That step has not been done for the plugins causing problems.

    Once the plugins have been passed through the CK, and resaved, then they can be successfully fully merged in a Bashed Patch, giving you one less plugin slot back for use by another mod .. And the game runs fine.

    Your plugin problem probably always needed doing properly in the CK, but nothing was giving you any indication that was the case.

    Refer to the conversation which starts here, on the next page Beermotor has done some very nice testing and highlighted the problem with these plugins.


    TL : DR Summary : Could you please throw your plugin into the CK, and then resave the plugin, so that all records in the plugin are versioned correctly. Give it a check over for dirty edits by the CK with TES5Edit by all means afterwards before releasing a new version, and the usual ITMs.

      Can anyone point to a tutorial where a noob can learn how to "throw your plugin into the CK, and then resave the plugin?"

      The rest of the above fix-it instructions I can handle.

      It looks like the mod isn't going to be fix and I'd like to fix it for myself, if possible. I am using Skyrim LE and don't see any other mod that will do the same thing. Thanks!

      Just Open the esp in the Creation Kit, and then Save it and overwrite with the same name. That's it.

    Is there a mod like this for Fallout 4? I made a mod that changes the npc height for Fallout 4 and they keep shrinking when they use things and stay shrunk.

    I've posted a new version. It requires all dlc.

    Benefits:
    Cleaned with Tesedit and updated to newest usleep.
    Removed the wood chopping and mining sections.

      i have version 1.9 in a merge, so could u tell what sections to add the race flag back to for woodchopping? i found the mining furnitures and reverted those
