this mod really is kinda odd. for starters you cannot upgrade a sword into a larger sword because that is not how forging works. you would have to melt down the entire blade.

  You can't smith bones either or sharpen them on a grindstone. Summoning fire atronachs doesn't work well either.
  So the simple Answer is: Magic
