This mod really didnt get the appreciation it deserves. Ive been searching for a soul gem mod for a long time now that I really liked, this is by far the best. The only issue I have is with the basic download is the color of the holders, the green/blue just stands out so much, especially down in a dungeon where everything is tarnished and horrible.
Poked about real quick, seems I get the really greeny/blue soulgem holders when the 2 nif files for the holders is in soulgemholder01.nif & soulgemholderstand01.nif. When I remove them, the newer textures from you 4k optional pack work fine.
Thanks a lot for the tip mate, I just did the same thing and now the holders look really awesome without glowing way too extreme. And the soulgems look awesome as well!
Ok Update to Everybody ! I have added the New Soulgemhoders and Soulgemstanders ! Also I have added the Ultra Soulgems 4K if you like ! Take a look in the Download Section and the New Screenshots !
These really look good in game. The holders though are a little too intense IMO, they seem to outshine the gems. Of course I am running an ENB which probably affects the way they look in game.
That said would it be difficult to produce a version with the holders less bright and intensely coloured so that there is a contrast between the gems and their holders but not competing with each other?

Ok after so many Requests I will soon Release a Version with less Glowing and other Texture for Soulgemholder and Soulgemstanders. The Soulgems will stay untouched.
Really nice retexture. My personal idea - maybe add glow effect to crystals after capturing a soul ? slightly more glow or a small light as it should be like you mentioned in the description?
