      load xvision children 1st before COHO and it works great for me. I put COHO near the bottom with Hearthfire adoption below that and got it working great! Put xvision about 6 to 8 loads before COHO. That's how I got it working.

    I like beautiful children to look at, when home from adventures then the ghetto looking one skyrim give you.

    found that with this mod active I couldn't kill Grella, it made her invincible. had to disable it to kill her then reactivate it.

    Nice mod - the incompatebillity with xvision is rather simple to resolve for the user if they know a bit about creation kit

    I noticed that you haven't mentioned anything about whether it is possible to get the little Khajitt add-on girl or not. What I mean is I'm pretty sure it won't conflict with your mod, but it would be helpful if you added a suggestion up in the paragraph where you explain the order to adopt the girls for when you should adopt her. Just in case there is any problems like the Vampire Child. I am going to try to adopt her and another 5 girls with your mod pretty soon to see if it goes OK then I will post and let you know what order I adopted her in. This makes me a little sad, because it means I will have to leave one of the little girls at the orphanage all by herself since if you add the Khajitt it makes 7 girls in the game. Aventus will be there to keep her company, but I don't think he would be a very good influence. HE may decide to put a contract out on the little girl if she makes him mad :-)

    Just as a head's up, I have killed Grelod, and been able to adopt, without any of those titles. True, I had to leave, and come back to town, but I had not even reported in to the Jarl to tell about Riverwood... let alone gone to the tower.

    And I had adopted the kids. I DID get my house in Solitude, true enough, and based them there, but it isn't based on a title.

    Just as a fyi

      i get a lot of my information from Elder Scrolls Wiki, and i am certain they make mistakes. So, thanks for the correction. However, i had a different experience. She would not take me seriously until i became the dragonborn. No, to be honest i never tried leaving and coming back again, but i am going to stick with what worked for me in my instructions. Also, the mod this is intended to be a companion for "Hearthfires Multiple Adoptions Mod", alters the way the adoption system works, so that you can have six children. This may, or may not affect the situation you are telling me about, but for the moment i am gonna play it safe and say what worked for me.

      If people do follow the instructions, they should not fail, and end up with five human children, and one vampire child. Yes, it is very possible that not following my instructions to the letter might still yield success. However, some folks don't like to take chances.

      Their choice, boys or girls, but i can see already that the daughters are more popular. I figured this would be the case. There is something a bit more adorable about a little girl than a little boy. (my wife and i hoped for a daughter three times, and three times were presented by boys. i am not dissapointed, they are fine young men i am proud of, but this mod is a sort of release for me in this area. a totally platonic release, i assure you.)

      Not a problem... And as verification... I am using the multiple adoptions mod as well. (and all official DLC, and their unofficial patches)

      As a mod maker myself, I figured to at least put that out there, so you can know. That way if you choose, you can check it out at a later date. (on another save game, or be able to relate if someone else does something goofy. I chose to deliberately not to report in on the Dragonborn line until after the vamps of the world were eliminated. )

      With me, it is true that she didn't want to take me seriously at first, but when I told her I had a house in Symphony, and it had the kids chambers, she changed her mind and approved. (She didn't send me a letter yet either) (*shrugs*)

      I do agree, daughters do generally get more interest normally. I normally start at girls, and go from there, so I can understand the preference of one over another, on the normal, platonic basis.

      Haven't had much time to tinker with it, but I did pick up both of them... (Daughters currently loaded.) ... Current game I had already adopted the war orphans, so I only had 2 slots for further adoption... why?

      that is a question that is probably best answered by the author of Hearthfires Multiple Adoptions. Unless of course, you did not read the instructions, and adopted the vampire child before being done adopting all the others. i myself noted that once i adopted the vampire child, i could adopt other children, but they would not show up at the house, ever. Always adopt the vampire child as the sixth adoption, since that is the last one you are going to get anyway. oh, and i did strongly suggest starting with a new game, or at least a save game before having adopted any children, or even having spoken to someone about adoption, because that is what the author of Hearthfires Multiple Adoptions recommends.

      ahh, someone else who prioritizes his saves. i myself set property ownership and thane titles as number 1 priority, before becoming dragonborn. those quests are so badly bugged, and i feel a lot better about it if i get that out of the way first, before i have a chance to further bug out those quests.

      I think you misfiled an answer in this thread, instead of the one for thetgmgod...

      My first priority is generally to get the locations for Hearthfires... It's always better to get the cooperation of the masses BEFORE you drop random dragon attacks and vampire attacks on them, which may kill those that will willingly speak for you, and aid your support. Once you get the property, you can build it up at any time... But if your supporters are all killed, it's a royal pain in the butt to get approval to get the ground in the first place.

      I wanted to check and see that one other glitch I had earlier honestly... (I had an earlier issue in another game where the door to the kid's room was covered by a wall, which permanently blocked EVERYONE from the room, so I wanted to check that out, and see if they fixed that little issue this time. And for the record... Yes, it was fixed. Yay! )

      I DO have one question, however... Are you going to replace the conversations of the kids (on daughters) so they are aren't using the other specific comments from their male forms? (I mean, seriously, while it's possible for one of the girls to be left by her parents, it's doubtful that one would say that her name is like the sound a lion makes "Roar"... Because honestly, many parents will avoid making their daughter named anything that could be mistaken for "wh*%#", and that's a bit close. ) ... TRUE... It's chuckle worthy, and makes me wonder and think she was around Grelod too long, and picked up a bad nickname, but still.

      Such lines can be easily be replaced, so I was wondering if you were going to do such, or just leave it there.

      LOL, you are a delightful person to talk to. you don't take anything the hard way, and you don't mince words. i like that, a lot. i'll never have to worry or wonder about where you are coming from in a conversation.

      yeah, i am looking into dialogue editing in the creation kit for another reason as well. (my pirate character, Blackbeard, i want to use lines from Delvin Mallory with him. If you have not seen him, please check him out. i am very proud of that one.)

      However, it did also occur to me that adjusting the dialogue so that all the converted children used the dialogue of francois, who has a completely neutral dialogue as far as i can tell, which does not indicate his identity, or gender, would fix this problem entirely. i would very much like to pursue changing the dialogue, yes.

      so, if you have specific advice about changing dialogue, i am, much like ross perot, all ears. i would love to be able to mess with the dialogue, for this, and my other companion mods. can you recommend a tutorial which gets right to the point? so many authors of tutorials think we enjoy hearing them talk, or reading their text for a half hour to get five minutes worth of information.

      it is not however a deal breaker for me, or i would not have published the children as they currently are. i would rather upload children with little flaws like this, than not be able to do it at all. so, until i can figure this out, they will still have this flaw.

      Ok, sure... Give me a sec...
      (CK Crashes on me)
      (*Grumbles*) CK is giving me problems... so I am having to template this on a vanilla level of things. You WILL have to adapt this a bit for the added quests and scripts with the new adoption options. (I haven't had time to sort CK out since I reinstalled)

      Easy way to get to their dialog:
      Go to CK
      +Actors
      ++Actor
      +++ImperialRaceChild
      ++++Male
      ------ This takes you to Francois & Samuel

      You can get to Runa by similar, but you scroll down further. Instead of going to ImperialRaceChild, you go to
      +++NordRaceChild
      ++++Female

      ** Hroar is in NordRaceChild, but in the Male section.

      ---
      Once you get there...

      Bring up one of the kids Profiles : (I will use Hroar as an example) You will have to do this with each kid.
      --
      Click the "Dialogue" button on the Left hand of screen, under the second column of check boxes, under the "ID" window

      You will find all the dialog that he is involved in at that point.

      Look under the tab at the top called "Player Dialogue" (It is NORMALLY already selected by default)
      There is a box called "Branches"
      Under that, "Editor ID" You will find all the quests that deal with him having dialog.

      You will want to look at a few points here.
      1) DB01HroarGrelodBranch
      -- This has reference to him in the orphanage, and his gender.
      2) DialogueRiftenHonorhallKidsBranch
      -- Has other stuff said...

      * Click "DB01HroarGrelodBranch"
      -- you will see a window beside the Branches window that says "Topics" at the top. Under that, you will see all the topics that deal with him. You will see"DB01HroarGrelodBranchTopic" Click it.

      Beside that is a text wndow that says "Quest" and has a line in it.

      Double click it, and it SHOULD bring up a window, with "Topic Info" at the top

      In THIS window, you will see "Response Text" There are several lines here. Each is a individual line. If you look at the third line, you will see:

      ** "I'm a growing boy. I need as much food as I can get."

      Here, you double click the line you want to change.

      You will then see a NEW window pop up. It has that same line in it under "Response Text". Change it here from "Boy" to "Girl"

      Then you will see at the bottom, "Ok". Click it.
      Then you Click "Ok" through the options until you get to the Dialogue Window again.

      At that point, you have (or should have) changed the options.

      * Save the changes, and you should be golden.

      --

      You will HAVE to go through all the branches that deal with this. Like I said, my CK is being annoying, since I recently reinstalled my OS. I think I need to tweak config files, but haven't stressed it that much to sort it out.

      Hint: if I recall right from my browsing the quests earlier, the kids use the same format for the commentaries, in the same quests. Keep track of what quests deal with the first one, and use that as a template for finding the rest.

      ===

      Hope that helps.

      No prob. I am glad to help when it's basic info like that. I have looked into a lot of this stuff with my other mods that I have made, so it's not that big of a deal.
