Sorry for taking 3 years to respond. This was in my plans, but I ended up leaving the modding scene and never added more features to the mod. I'm back, and I'm porting this mod to Skyrim SE. The LE version will likely stay as-is, unless I find a way do downgrade the SE version to LE.
Yup. Back when this mod was still called The Emperor Wing, I tried to make it compatible with Hearthfire and adoption mods, but no deal. I have more experience with the CK now, but the thing is I don't have as much time to work on mods as I used to. One day this mod will be complete, but I can't give you an exact that. Things will be easier now that I have a team helping me create my mods (we still need more people on the team, so just contact me if you want to join us!)
Does the 1.2 Full Installation Version include the add-ons for the DLC's and is the Elder Scrolls display feature fixed in this version yet? (Which is a freaking awesome feature btw.) And btw, I'm not sure if you stated this or not, but is there a place to display all of the Black Books from the Dragonborn DLC in this mod? Also, is it bad that one of my Skyrim Save Files is 46,003 KB big? xP.
No, the full installation is the main mod. The addons are separate. About your savegame, I can't tell you, haha. When the savegame becomes too big, the game starts to crash, of this I know. But I don't think it will interfere with the mod.
On the main version, you have a display for Elder Scroll (Dragon). If you download the Dawnguard addon, you'll have a display for each of the three Elder Scrolls. Currently, this is the only feature on the Dawnguard addon.
About the displays for the Black Books, I'll check it out, cause I seriously don't remember if I uploaded the version with this feature, ROFL.
Okay, thank you. Yeah, I think my save file is screwed, since the normal size for one of them is 9 KB. Okay, great, because I was always looking for somewhere to place those damn things. And LOL, let me know when you find out about the Black Book things so I know when I can download this mod so I can put my Elder Scrolls and Black Books in that room at the same time that I install this mod. But other then that, I look forward to using this mod once I find out about the Black Book Display thing.
You can now download the Dragonborn addon. It now contains the displays you asked. If you find any problems, please report asap so I can try and fix them. Thanks for downloading! (and, also, please don't forget to endorse)
Like I said, the Dawnguard addon currently contains only the display for the Elder Scrolls. You can see which features are available on the mod's description.
The paragons are one of the things i'm having some problems making. I'm afraid I can't tell you how long it will take me to get these problems solved.
Yes, you'll be able to display all of your scrolls. The other stands are on the Dawnguard addon, which is not done yet. I'm having some issues with it and couldn't release it yet. I'll make an alpha version of this addon so you can display your scrolls, but the other Dawnguard features will not be out until I figure out how to solve these issues.
I'm uploading an update tonight that will solve all the problems with the navmeshes, so the NPCs will stop going to places they are not supposed to. As well as fix Ahmad's dialogues and add new ones.
You can now update your mod. Version 1.2 is out with the bugs fixed. I also uploaded the Dawnguard addon for you to display your elder scrolls. As I've already said earlier, there is no major feature in this addon. ONLY the new displays.
first of all, i love this mod...the only issue that i have had with it is that i am unable to put miraak's items in their places and the statue is not showing up. Also the alchemist is just lingering on the second floor above where she should be. I would like to add a suggestion, maybe add a place to put the black books and the other 2 elder scrolls. And again great mod.
Oh, yeah. I noticed the girl walking around the hall there, but I forgot to changed it. About Miraak's statue, in order to activate his statue, you need his sword, his armor, mask, gloves and boots. All of them. Here his statue is working normally. His staff can be placed on a display next to the portal to the training room. Please try with these items, and if the problems persists, tell me. I'll try to fix the issue.
EDIT: if the problem persists, don't worry. I will remake this mod from the scratch (again). This will fix all the problems and will look better too. Next update will be a remake (I'm busy with another project - another player home, more complete - so it may take a while until I release the new update).
Okay, thank you for reporting again. In order to fix this issue, I will need some info on your gear. There are 6 (yes, six) variations of Miraak's mask. 3 are heavy and 3 are light armor. And, also, there are 3 variations of the other items (his sword, robes and staff). I will need to know which one of these you have.
Please provide the armor rating of your item, and, also, the enchantment it has. I need the details of the enchantment. These infos will show me which pieces of gear you have.
Once I have the needed information, I will try to fix this issue and update the mod asap. Thanks!
The only quest you need to have done is The Mind of Madness in order to get access to the Wing. Besides that, there is no other quest. For now. I plan to add some quests in the future.
Is this one of those mods where you have to complete "quest X" before even installing the mod or will it work smoothly anyway? What I mean, do I need to do the "The Mind of Madness" quest before installing the mod or witll the upgrade come into effect on it's own when done?
Other then that, I assume, one's Pelagius wing are no longer "haunted" it is actually meant for the Emperer personally to use during visits to Solitude but it is possible the High King could live there. Sort of a lore break for a simple thane to reside there thou it looks nice so why not?
1. Sorry for the ling time I took to answer your question, Niceguy. But no. There are no quest requirements for this mod, and you can install it even before doing The Mind of Madness. You will have no issues starting or completing the quest, with or without the mod installed. I didn't want to mess with this quest, so I didn't change anything that relates the quest. Like LadyTarantula said: you can start a whole new character with the mod installed, get Pelagius' bones and enter the Wing. The quest will start normally.
2. Well, I tried to make the Wing look as good as I could. And, no, it is not haunted anymore, lmao. I plan to make things this way: the Wing will continue to be all messed up, haunted and these stuff... until you complete the Mind of Madness and talk to X person. I didn't do this before cause I was afraid of messing the Wabbajack's quest. I'll study a little bit more about this quest, and once I know exactly how it works, I promise I will add these features. And some quests too... to make this mod more... thrilling.
hey i just want to add something. i recently started a new character, and went to the blue palace to get the wabbajack. the old musty cobwebby pelagius wing is completely gone. BUT the quest still works. if you go down the long hallway (like in the original) the quest automatically activates. i was able to complete it with no issues. so no worries if you havent done it yet, the mod doesnt mess anything up
Well, when I was creating the .esm file, something bugged, and I couldn't find the fix. So I made this quick fix that doesn't screw up the whole mod. But the fix should go before the .esm because it is not related to any of the mod files... this fix is related to Skyrim.esm only. It cleans the Wing, deletes all the items and useless things inside of the Wing so the mod's .esm can add them again and make the mod work. Loading the fix after the mod's .esm may misplace some things inside of the Wing.
