Err... since the "brawler" versions of gauntlets do double their (base?) armor rating as damage, wouldn't that be double nothing? I'd suggest enchanting regular gloves instead.
Is there an easy way to determine how much damage you are doing? The inventory display for the gauntlets doesn't show it all (as the active magic shows a higher value than that in bonuses alone! ) and it's hard to tell what's being added together at any time.
In particular, are there trade-offs between wearing armoured gauntlets, and mage armor boosts, and how can I determine what's best in-game?
Could you add an optional file for just the scaling unarmed damage spell? It's a really useful spell for people who want a pure unarmed character, but the changes to armor spells and the addition of the brawlers is a major turn off, so could you please include an optional file to get just the scaling unarmed damage at the riverwood trader?
I'll be downloading this mod when my new rig comes but it seems that to level up at a decent rate you'll need a mod like sxp to compensate for the lack of points without any combat skills if you decide not to use any gauntlets and focus on the alteration flesh spells for armour and attack.
