while i understand people disliking the tree stumps this changes the trees into from an imersion/ role playing point of view they make sense as you start by building a small house and then need to buy lumber from the vampires at their mill but that dosnt explain how they get the lumber to the location. so having the tree stumps visible shows they didnt "send lumber" they just went to the location and cut down the trees to use as the lumber.
I have no idea of how these mods work, so i have this question: How hard would it be to actually enable your character to cut down these trees, or for it to be able to hire someone to cut them down? You could even use the wood...
You could always open the console, click them individually and use the console command 'disable'. If you don't like how it looks with a certain tree gone, you can 'enable' it while you still have it's ID.
I think for now that's what I'm intending to do for now. I like the idea of the mod, but not the way it was carried out. With all of those stumps and fallen trees, it's just really out of place.
Clears things up a bit if u use bigger trees, actually seemed to have gained performance with the lake view manor overhaul. and the road to the manor add-ons. I used console to delete a stump in the middle of the path. Very useful specific tweak.
