Hello everyone, this will be ported to the SSE site today. As the creator has left Skyrim modding, they have given permission for this mod to be taken over.
As such I have plans to make changes and additions to improve this aspect of the game. I’ll update this post with a redirection to the SE port when done.
Sorry guys, I took a break from Skyrim and forgot all about this. I'm testing the changes now, there seems to be a couple of navmesh errors. I've fixed and updated the waterflow records.
i tried this mod on skyrim in fact i used it till i started playing special edition so the question is... any chance of a special edition port/version?
I’ve actually ported this into my SSE build. I’ve contacted the mod creator, but he has not been active in 12 months. I’ll update this thread shortly when i create the SSE page.
I don't know if it is already present, but you could make the pilgrims start worshiping Talos again in that shrine that was massacred close to Lakeview Manor (Only if Stormcloacks wins in the Civil War).
This is a great idea! it did seem odd to me to have all these shrines with never any pilgrims but the Dragonborn.
One question though, I see you mentioned changing Mehrunes Dagon's shrine and I wanted to ask what affect that has on the Pieces of the Past quest - for instance, will the worshipers who live there attack Silus? What if they attack you when you arrive and Silus ends up involved by stray spells or something, if he accidentally gets turned against you before you've had a chance to speak with Mehrunes that could be a problem. Is the interior of the shrine still the same? What about the dremora that are encountered there? Can you clarify a bit on this change?
Also a thought - what about occasional Thalmor patrols passing the Talos shrines? It would be immersive to sometimes witness an arrest or battle, though that leads me to the question of are these pilgrims essential?
Hello. I know this is late but did you find out the answer to your questions? I installed the mod recently but I have yet to see it in-game. I also started the Mehrunes' Razor quest and have collected only one piece so far. I also completed Meridia's quest already but I haven't returned to her statue, so I've yet to see if pilgrims were added there (hopefully).
Someone needs to pick up this mod or make a similar one. As much as I'd like to try this out, it seems outdated already and was never updated past the version 1, and I'm concerned about compatibility issues with other mods. Thank you.
I just found this mod today. The author says it was cleaned with TES5Edit. I downloaded it and looked at it in TES5Edit, and there were no errors reported and it appears that there are no gamebreakers in it.
Unfortunately, the author set the mod permissions to require their approval before modifying or using this mod as part of another mod.
LOVE this mod! Makes the world feel more fleshed out instead of endless wilderness with nothing but bandits. Thanks so much for this, anything that makes the vanilla game feel more alive is greatly appreciated.

More on this shortly.
