I've been sitting here trying to fight Alduin all night on top of the mountain.I got the invincible Alduin bug. Worked around that.
So got the fight going and he's taking some small damage. Good. But every time I shout him down he lands, and IMMEDIATELY flies back up in the air again. That's if I can get him to land at all. On the few times he does stay down it's for 2 seconds, enough time for me to hit him once or twice.
At this rate I spent 4 hours fighting Alduin. I'm not kidding.
Installed this mod. Fight was done in 5 min.

Ran some tests with it and I'm very pleased. I'd say 99% of cases they stayed down the entire duration, and the outliers were likely due to DCO's behavioral randomization.
It's really nice to be able to do other shouts and stuff while a dragon's down, rather than just spam Dragonrend the entire fight. <3
great mod, I cant use any other shout before cos I have to pin the dragon on the ground, now I can use 2-3 more shouts before the thing starts flying again.
Simple but great mod, fixed the Dragonrend problem with Enhanced Mighty Dragons.
Might I ask what was the problem with Dragonrend being ineffective against dragons? Is it because certain mods like Enhanced Mighty Dragons give them magic resistance or resistance against Dragonrend?
at first i added just more seconds cause i thought mods give dragons resists and while they get dragonrend they remove it after few sec so problem done
but then i noticed at ck it has option so spell cannnot be resisted, checked that and then edited the time to match the original time again and voila this mod now
