YOU DO NOT NEED THIS MOD, YOU JUST HAVE TO USE THE FOLLOWING CONSOLE COMMAND: player. removeitem 0003C9FE 1. Sorry to the author (and for using all caps to get your attention), but this mod does not seem to work. It did not work for me, so I used the console to remove the prisoner's oufit just before character creation, and it worked. 0003C9FE is the code for the prisoner's oufit, and the 1 is the number you want to remove from the character's inventory. Once again, I apologize to the author, but it needed to be done.
I've tried the mod too with both RaceMenu and AS:LAL, didn't work. Also tried remove item but I'll give it another go. Also I don't think the author cares, this mod is really old.
I do not have any alternate start mods but I do have racemenu and this mod doesn't work, I still have prisoner clothes. It must be compatible somehow since it shows racemenu being used in the screenshots above, although the pictures show an outdated version of racemenu, maybe that's the problem? This mod is not recognized by BOSS either, so maybe the load order is the issue? I have way too many mods to figure out if that's the case on my own but I would love to see this mod working. I have tattoo mods and it would be a huge help to see them at character creation. Any suggestions?
This is a really late comment, but it was working for me just fine with racemenu, but alternate start made it not work. I do however know that this mod's load order is important for it to work, it's a bit picky on where it is
im going to join the crowd with saying that this mod doesn't seem to work for me either.
upon making a new character to try a magic caster path, i got all excited on using this mod only to find that the character at the start was dressed normally.
I'll add one more name to the list of people who get no effect from this Mod.
I do not have any other mods that effect the "starting quest", I don't think I have any mods that effect the clothing items themselves (but it is possible, since I have some clothing replacer packages, but that really shouldn't conflict with this mods function). The only mods I have that really do anything during the game start, are a couple custom races.
I have changed the mod's load order, and tried different versions, still no effect.
It's a smart little mod that could be quite helpful during character creation, so I hope become useable to more players in the future. Good luck.
mypost is redundant I get a loop when hitting start game music plays icon is there steam is rolling around but game never starts I do indeed have alternate start so I suspect that's why the reason I post anyway is because I like the idea of this mod and if u do find a way to get it to play nicely with LAL well that would be great thanks
