Could you perhaps make a longsword or bastard sword with a similar blade to this. Flamberge blades are very rare on the nexus and you are evidently very talented. Also an unenchanted version would be nice, just for a greater level of personalisation.
The next update to the mod will add an unenchanted version, and will modify the process of obtaining the enchanted one. The unenchanted weapon will be an ingredient when crafting the enchanted item, and can be made at any forge. I'll also add some backstory to it...not a real quest, more like a little scavenger hunt, CSI style. I'll submit the update sometime this weekend.
Thanks for your appreciation! I'm not sure what I'll submit next but I'll at least try another flamberge, a zweihander next time.
You should clean it with tesvedit before upload. You have a dirty edit where it looks like you were going to place it, or the chest, at the Skyforge.
Also, with the "flamedancer" reference I would drop the enchant and firesalts from the crafted version and change the one thats found in the world to the unique. That way the model is easy to acquire, but the "unique" is still special. It even allows you to them create more of them once you have found it assuming you have the correct skills.
Overall, nice work. I just wish there was a solid animation set for it.
Thanks for the pointers...I'll create a clean .esp for the next update. Yeah, the Skyforge is where I had it for character testing, for the sake of easy access. I have no animation experience yet, but I might add that later.
Yeah I really don't expect you to make an animation set for it.
Just whining because none of the animation wizards have managed it yet. The biggest issue is that it replaces all swings, so the fencer/swashbuckler style looks super goofy coming from bandits wielding broadswords. There is the pcea, but I never got it working, and gave up until I do a warrior playthrough (the spartan phalanx mod looks awesome!).
