when I open the map for the 1st time a note comes up and tells me error that you need I have skyui 3,0 you must have skyui 5,1 but I already have skyui 5,1 and
when I load up a game and open the map, the note pop up every time, I get annoying, I ended up uninstalling this mod, my game can run ok without all this pretty coloured icon on the map, this mod is just a whim that's all.

I just installed this, and now some very important things are no longer showing up on the map (world or local), like MY location, quest objective markers, and follower markers. I use a mod "Follower Map Markers" (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=15386) & thought for a sec that there might be a conflict, but logically that would only affect my followers, and wouldn't explain why own character no longer shows up the map, and neither do quest markers.
Any help on how to fix this? These markers are vital to gameplay, so if I can't fix it then I will be unable to use this mod at all.

I tried it just to see with the 1.9 patch, and it's working again. Beth must have tweaked something.

Only the mod creator can give us are colors back... or someone acting in his place.

The Skyrim v1.8.151.0.7 patch is now official. The Creation Kit has been updated to the new Skyrim patch. So, all we need now is someone to update this mod for the latest Skyrim patch.

Yep, looks like Skyrim v1.8.151.0.7 patch is now official on Steam. It adds new map icons so I imagine map marker mods, along with ones that mod the in-game HUD will need to be updated.

Hopefully whoever is the mod creators for the various map marker mods will be active and get their mods updated soon.

Anyone else have their player marker on in-game map go missing after Skyrim v1.8 beta patch? It seems to be any colored map marker mod that is causing this. Bethesda seems to have changed something and map marker mods need to be updated to be compatible with whatever changed. Maybe once the final version of Skyrim v1.8 Beta patch comes out this won't be an issue.

It seems that the official 1.8 patch causes this problem as well. <img class=">

I really hope this gets updated.

Bethesda seems to have changed something and map marker mods need to be updated to be compatible with whatever changed. Maybe once the final version of Skyrim v1.8 Beta patch comes out this won't be an issue.

Update: I think I've found out what the problem is, and it won't be easily or quickly solved. For those of us that opted to join the Skyrim v1.8 Beta, it includes new icons for the map for upcoming new content, either a full-blown expansion or more DLC.

Checking online, modders have found mention of new items, places, etc. in the files of the v1.8 Beta. One of things I noticed mention of new things was so far not used, but new map icons that previously were not there.

This means the file or files that the graphics for the map icons, including for the HUD view, have changed in the Skyrim v1.8 Beta. What this will result in is mods that change map marker icons will need to be updated for the upcoming Skyrim v1.8 patch.

Since it's only in Beta stage still, and not everyone likes to sacrifice their save game files to Beta, it might be a few weeks or a month or so until the v1.8 Beta becomes official release.

But hey, that's the risk with participating in Beta. You get to see new stuff early, but also get to "experience" the new issues it may cause.
