    is this preset better performance than Gopher's RealVisions (performance) preset? also should we use the exact v0200 or a newer version like v0236 fit better for this? just using your .ini preset of course...

      You should be able to use a newer ENB but you won't get the newer effects. There is a chance that a new effect will default to on, if so, I would try using the older ENB. I will update when I have time, which will probably be in the summer. For performance, you really would just have to try both and see which one gives you better performance. I really tried to find the best performing fx files and settings.

      Sorry for the delayed response. I'm bogged down with grad school and life in general.

    I like it. but a small request can u tell me how to darken the shadows a little more. its a nice ENB and is very performance friendly, but for some reason the only little turnoff is no shade under a covered area outside. its a little to bright for my taste. other than that Endorse !

      There are many settings that affect shadows plus there are different kinds of shadows that are created. There are normal shadows and then the shadowing done with SSAO. One thing you can do is take the SSAO settings from another enbseries.ini file and paste them into my enbseries.ini file.

      Some enbeffect.fx files have settings that deal specifically with shadows. The one I use doesn't, so you can't adjust them directly. There are so many setting within an ENB and many things are not common from one ENB to another so you may not be able to get the effect you're looking for. Many times combining ENB's gives you extremely bad results.

      If you just like the performance, you might just want to use my DOF effect with another ENB you like. That means using my ENBeffectPrepass.fx file and the dynavision static dof with everything else from whatever ENB.

      The other thing might just be the lighting setting within the ENBseries.ini file. There are specific values for interior night and day. I've had a hard time finding balance between different interiors for brightness. Meaning, I get Whiterun interiors good but Solitude and Markarth interiors are too dark. Then I adjust more and Whiterun interiors are too bright. You might just want to decrease some of those values to your taste. The easiest way is to hit shift + enter and you get the ENB user interface where you can adjust those values and save them. You could also try decreasing the bloom in interiors using the same method.

      Getting a good balanced ENB is difficult and time consuming, you really have to get yourself immersed in all of the possible settings and spend the time tweaking them to your liking. I'm sorry there is not an easy answer, it just doesn't work that way.

    The link to enb file .200 is no longer valid. Maybe the file isn't available any more? Stupid question but, couldn't you just include that file in with the download zip??

      No, it's strictly prohibited. You can use .201 There is little difference from a user perspective, a few new settings can be copied to ENBlocal.ini

      When you get the new version open both files (enblocal.ini) and copy whatever lines are not in mine.

      Don't use .202, right now it's in testing.

      Many thanks. How is performance?

      That's weird, the values should stay if you hit the save configuration button.

      They are all the settings in ENBseries.ini, so just edit that file with your new values.

      Hi Forgot to disable Antialiasing and Anisotropic in launcher, now it saved the configuration without having to keep applying in configuration to enable the correct visuals etc

    Hi there, I'm kind of new to this so sorry if this is a dumb question but I have enb v0.200 and I'm using the CTD and Memory patch ENBoost:
    http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/38649//?

    I'm just wondering if it's possible to have your presets running and still have ENBoost working?

      Yes, if you use my presets ENBoost is still working. That mod page is really for people who want to use ENBoost but not the ENB visuals. Any ENB using 0.200 uses ENBoost if the correct setting are applied in ENBLocal.ini

      ExpandSystemMemoryX64=true (set if you are using 64 bit OS)
      ReduceSystemMemoryUsage=true (this is the main one)
      DisableDriverMemoryManager=true (not really sure what this does, I seem to get better performance with it true)
      ReservedMemorySizeMb=(a value between 0 and the amount of VRAM you have, default is 512)
      EnableUnsafeMemoryHacks=false (set to true if you have 32 bit operating system or system ram <= 4GB)

      you have to edit the file enbeffect.fx

      at the top, after two credit sections, there are two line:
      #define USE_PANORAMIC_EFFECT 1
      #define fpanoramicoffset8.4

      you can lower the offset number for smaller bars
      Example:
      #define USE_PANORAMIC_EFFECT 1
      #define fpanoramicoffset4.0

      or comment out the first line to remove the effect
      Example
      //#define USE_PANORAMIC_EFFECT 1
      #define fpanoramicoffset8.4

      Are you running any anti-virus software? You need to put an exception for TESV.EXE in there with this new enb process running.
