This mod works fine for SSE (1.5.9 it does at least) Run it through Cathedral Assets Optimizer to fix the .nifs You can then use a mod like DragonPriest Retexture - SE on the sse nexus to upgrade the texture. You can also edit the masks in SSEEdit to make the masks their original armor, heavy and light respectively, or keep them as is for the cloth value.
One issue that i see others have had aswell, is the purple texture for Volsung. Not experienced enough to out right fix the issue, but you CAN do something about it. Navigate to the the mods "Real Dragonpriest Masks > Meshes > Armor > Dragonpriesthelms" Find the file named "mask_corondrum.nif" Deleting it will make the mask entirely invisible when equipping it in game, but will still excist and give you the stats. OR you can delete "mask_corondrum.nif" copy any of the other mask_insertname.nif" nifs (i recommend "mask_wood.nif") and rename it "mask_corondrum.nif" This way you get a mask equipped but it has the look of the Wooden Mask.
If you have USSEP installed, you can download Circlets with Mage Hoods from the SSE nexus. You end up with a pretty decent look imo.
It's not working for me. The hood is still there. I installed with Vortex, which might be a problem I was also already wearing the mask when the mod was installed, so that might be a factor EDIT: So I figured out what I did wrong But I do have another comment. The mod seems to remove the masks' status as Light Armor. Is that an intended effect of the mod?
Just use "SSE NIF Optimizer", you just have to select the file, wait, and then it will be ready for Skyrim SE, just manually install or put it into nexus mod files in "Games", so you can download with it
when i am equipping a mask my head turns invisible i am using Apophysis as well as the main version for it, i am not using skyre i am using Requiem maybe that couses the problem
I've noticed a few mods that do this, but all of them miss a detail that yours also seems to not mention anywhere in the description nor in the images: Do these work for beast races as well? Generally they don't, and that doesn't much surprise me (the different facial geometry makes it a bit of a hassle) but I have to ask.
I didn't even checked because, as you said, they have very different facial geometry. There is nothing can be done here nor should be done. Because dragon priests was humans, thus masks were made for humanoids only.

Everything else work just fine (no hood, clipping is okay, etc.)
I'm using Requiem maybe it come from there.
Can someone confirm the incompatibility and/or a fix.
Thx.
