Endorsed as I can't stand the floating Elven quiver! However I hate that they all float, I can't wait for a fix on this. Makes me want to pull out ductape and tie the quivers down to my pc.
@Salah-ad Din: Thanks for the advice! I'll have to learn more about editing meshes in NifSkope so I can make an "Armor Fix" for the flotaing gear, that would be a lot better
Okay...I think the idea is good, but you looked in the wrong place. It is true that this fixes the floating quiver, but only for the elven arrows (every other kind of arrows are still floating way too far from the armor) and yes, this makes the elven quiver clip into every other kind of armor. Plus bows are also still floating in mid-air behind the elven armor.
A simple test: Equipping the thieves guild armor makes everything - every kind of armor and any kind of bow - float considerably closer to the armor.
So I say this is not a problem with the quiver model, but with the armor model. I think the attachement-point for every armor mesh is the one you'd need to change in order to fix the floating bows & quiver problem for good.

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks

Just a hint / an idea though. No critique.
