There are two things I would suggest with this mod to make Skyrim a little less... well, depressing.
1. Simply space the clouds a little further apart.
2. The clouds technically have volume, but they still are 'flat' in a lighting sense. In Earth's atmosphere, light diffuses and separates as it travels through our atmospheric gases and clouds. So adding some sort of glow map type effect to the clouds would be wonderful. As the light passes through it, it should soften but also spread and diffuse - the cloud itself should literally glow.
I know Zero, Zilch, Nada about how programming that would work, but I am a programmer and scripter of about half my life, so if I can help, I'd love to.
And to the community: does anyone here code lighting mods for games like Skyrim and shaders for Minecraft? We could crowdsource a great diffusion system, I'm sure.
