    ULO+ has been updated to use the following:

    ENB v0.221
    ENB Boost v5.0
    SweetFX 1.5

    Minor changes to color correction.
    Installation restructured to make it easier to install and update.
    ENB Boost wrapped into the main archive.

    Could somebody post some detailed instructions on how to this working with HiAlgoBoost? I read the readme and the ENB parts don't seem to apply to this mod as enblocal.ini has already set it's proxy dll to sweetfx_d3d9.dll.

      Try the following:
      1) Edit enblocal.ini. Change the ProxyLibrary there as instructed by HiAlgoBoost
      2) Edit HiAlgoBoost.ini. Add the sweetfx_d3d9.dll there

      This is basically the same setup like the original ULO but in addition uses enb.

      You could even add a FXAA to sweetfx, but in this case this does not make much sense...

      Having said that: Do not mix ENBoost and HiAlgoBoost. They are doing a similar thing though the focus from HiAlgoBoost is on CPU.
      Best thing is to try it out. The ENBoost settings might fix more issues than HiAlgoBoost does.

      They do nothing alike..

      Hialgoboost downscales images in real time when fps drops occur. ENBoost forces Skyrim to preallocate and cache/transfer data stored in VRAM more effectively since it can't access it in an efficient way usually, depending on image settings, mods and postprocess settings..

      The difference is Hialgo runs like s#*!, makes your game look like s#*! (and attempts to only do it during movement to mask it) while ENBoost just changes the way DirectX is handling memory, and sometimes even forcing it to use more than recommended (which can be good and bad, but never affects quality).

      Hialgoboost is like a poor man's motion blur for fps, except motion blur is the poor man's v-sync solution at consistently low-as-hell frame rates (i.e. peasantboxes).

      ENBoost is a memory hack and nothing more or less.

    Hello All, Quick Questions: I have been using ULO Plus 1.20 with Skyrim and have been very happy with results. However...Just upgraded PC to Win 10 and now get an error: "The procedure entry point CreateDXGIFactory2 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\d3d11.dll". This basically locks up the launcher and I have to use task manager to close skyrim so the error will go away. A quick google search says it's caused by SweetFX and can be stopped by removing dxgi.dll & dxgi.fx from the skyrim folder. Well, that works, and skyrim starts right up, but I'm guessing that removing those files is disabling SweetFX. So...Have I disabled SweetFX by removing dxgi.dll & dxgi.fx? If so, kind of makes ULO Plus useless doesn't it. Is there another way to make ULO work without killing skyrim? By the way, I am using the Steam version of Skyrim w/ the SKSE launcher and a BUNCH of mods.

    Beautiful!!
    I'm using .266 binary with Somber3 and ULO Fantasy Ultra and it's working like a champ FPS 45-50. No lags so far after 3 days. My card is a middle weight Nvidia 750 Ti 2GB. This card made it difficult to find the sweet spot and I think the ENBoost pulled it all together....good results in my opinion.

      In truth, I'd recommend continuing to use the original ULO until this gets updated. You want the latest binaries for ENBoost (step installation).

      I disagree. Do not use the latest binaries. As stated here the latest ENB does not work well with ULO.

      Instead use Step 3 of the instruction. Using the original ENBoost you have to merge ULO with ENBoost or else you will deactivate the SweetFX part:

      [PROXY]
      EnableProxyLibrary=true
      InitProxyFunctions=true
      ProxyLibrary=sweet_d3d9.dll

      Apart from that the latest ENBoost settings have only one different line:

      [GLOBAL]
      UsePatchSpeedhackWithoutGraphics=false

      I think the author has disabled it for a reason.

      Details are explained here:
      http://wiki.step-project.com/ENBoost
      You may want to follow the step settings instead of the original settings.

    Ah sun rays! Love 'em. Ever since I saw them shine through coconut tree leafs in Crysis while my helpless 8800GT begged for mercy, I have loved them. So naturally and especially after watching those heavily modded Skyrim videos with insanely high graphics capturing the sun filtering through the leafs amongst other captivating graphical displays, one of the first things I wanted to add to my installation was sun rays. Just a few of those to embellish a pretty decent looking installation I have managed to whip up so far...

    but alas...every ENB i tried, either massacred my system or refused to play nice with other mods. I even tried the God rays only ENB...worked for a while at the cost of about 10-15 fps but started glitching out badly for some reason after a while. Nothing worked for one reason or the other and since only an ENB would do, the ever reliable SweetFX was out of the equation. So just as I was about to resign to a sun ray less, plain old SweetFX enhanced playthrough...

    ...I tried your mod as a last resort and...YOU SIR, ARE A GENIUS!! I can't thank you enough. The only mod I have come across that effectively combines the competence of SweetFX with the flash of ENB. Finally some sweet, sweet god rays w/o my card being brought down on all fours by even the most basic ENB. Hell if anything, I feel its improved my performance. Areas outside Whiterun used to dip regularly below the dreaded 30 fps mark and that was w/o ENB or SweetFX enabled but now they mostly stay above 35 and that is with sun rays, parallax mapping, detailed shadows activated. And the presets are just perfect. Nothing like SweetFX to pretty things up. More fps to go with increased eye candy...can't ask for more.

    Kicking myself for not trying this earlier as I had already downloaded it before but noooooo....had to go for the "sexier", fps annihilating, more endorsed stuff first. Could have spent the last couple of days actually playing the damn game instead of trying everything under the Tamriel sun to...well...to get its rays to shine through! And speaking of endorsement, how this mod's got just 297 of 'em baffles me. I'd endorse it time and again, given the option.

    So again, irrespective of whether you are checking up on this thread, I would like to thank you sincerely for resolving my issue. Endorsed and then some.

    I really hope this will be updated for the latest ENB binaries. The screenshots look so awesome, but the latest ENBoost is really needed for stability, though.
