I tried doing that, but couldn't make it work. Striking someone is inherently threatening, and it seems that calming strikes wo'n't work without some hefty scripting.
Theres a mod on the steam workshop that allows daedric artifacts to be changed and the ebony blade has an effect that back wards power attacks produce a wave of calm magic, might be something to think about
I don't intend to make any calming weapons. It seems to me that a calming wave like that is kind of pointless for an enchantment, when we already have staves and spells for the effect.
Frenzy is already a poison effect, so enchantments like Slow and stat ravaging are more reasonable than Calm. That's just my opinion, though. If someone else wants to make calm weapons, I wo'n't stop them.
In my experience, the enchantment makes enemies attack everyone within reach. So if you hit a bandit with a fury weapon and then another bandit and get out of the way, they may end up fighting each other and turn on their own faction. So the enchantment is best used in large groups.
interesting mod! I didn't notice this enchantment was missing until I saw this mod, but come to think of it, it's rather odd that this wasn't included.
